Fegley and Kellar Earn Week 2 Wrestler of the Week Honors

East Division Wrestler of the Week
Colin Fegley, Lock Haven, Redshirt Senior, 184 lbs.
Lock Haven’s Colin Fegley led the way for the Bald Eagles Sunday (Nov. 10) at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic. He was 2-1 with two majors at 184-C (First in the Pool/Bracket). Fegley opened the day with an upset win, as he majored #29 Nathan Haas of California Baptist.
 
West Division Wrestler of the Week
Peyten Kellar, Ohio, Redshirt Junior, 157 lbs.
Kellar clinched the Open 157-pound class title after defeating two Big Ten opponents. He first overpowered Jacob Bostelman from Northwestern in the opening round, winning by a 10-0 majority decision. In the semifinals, he secured a sudden victory against #18 Chase Saldate from Michigan, finishing with a score of 6-3. Kellar also faced an unattached opponent, winning by technical fall with a score of 16-1. Saldate, a 2024 NCAA qualifier, along with #11 Johnny Lovett from CMU, whom Kellar defeated in the finals by a 6-4 decision, added significant competition to the tournament. After five challenging matchups, Kellar emerged as the individual champion.
