Jud Logan Memorial, 60m/1st, 6.67s, 1 MAC/20 NCAA
Sean Callahan Jr. had a memorable collegiate debut at the Jud Logan Memorial, tying the Kent State Field House facility record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.67 seconds that is the fastest in the MAC this season and ranks 20th in the country. His time is tied for the second in school history and is the fastest by a Golden Flash since 2007.

Alexandre Malanda, Kent State, Junior

Alexandre Malanda opened the indoor season by winning the triple jump at the Jud Logan Memorial with a MAC-best mark of 15.53m (50’-11.5”) that ranks 12th in the nation. Malanda topped 15m on 4 attempts, a distance no other MAC student-athlete has recorded this season.

Laura Nicholson, Toledo, Grad Student
Wolverine Invitational, Mile/1st, 800m/7th, Mile: 4:41.74, 800m: 2;12.06, Mile: 2nd NCAA, 800m: 7th NCAA
Laura Nicholson helped lead the Toledo women's track & field team at Michigan's Wolverine Invitational on Saturday with two huge personal-best times. In her first indoor meet as a Rocket, Nicholson had a first-place finish in the mile, clocked in at 4:41.74, which is the fourth-best time in UT indoor history and second-best time in the NCAA. Earlier in the meet, she had a seventh-place finish in the 800m with a time of 2:12.06, which ranks No. 6 in UT history and seventh in the NCAA.

Lanee Hall, Kent State, Sophomore
Jud Logan Memorial, TJ/1st, 12.28m, 1 MAC/39 NCAA
Lanee Hall opened the indoor season by winning the triple jump at the Jud Logan Memorial with a PR of 12.28m (40’-3.5”). Hall’s MAC-leading jump ranks 39th in the nation.
