Women's Co-Singles Players of the Week
Laura Rico, Miami, Fifth Year
Rico defeated Toledo's number 1 player this past Friday, on the road. She is also undefeated this season in MAC play standing at 6-0 in the No. 1 position.
 
Julia Kuszynski, Toledo, Junior
The Toledo vs. Miami match came down to the No. 6 court where Julia Kuszynski snapped a 3-3 tie overall match with a 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 victory over Mayo Ushio to clinch. After winning the first set and losing the second set, Kuskynski went up 3-0 in the third and never trailed. The win extended the Toledo women's tennis team's winning streak to seven matches to now be 15-3 overall and maintained its unblemished 6-0 Mid-American Conference record.
 
Women’s Doubles Team of the Week
Lolina Schietekat Sedas/Gabriella Akopyan, Buffalo, Senior/5th Year
Buffalo seniors Lolina Schietekat Sedas and Gabriella Akopyan paired together for the first time this season and had a successful outing as they defeated Bowling Green 6-3 to help UB clinch the doubles point en route to a 5-2 victory over the Falcons. The Bulls are now 4-2 in league action.
