Women's Singles Player of the Week
Mariya Polishchuk, Ball State, Junior
In the Cardinals' lone match this past weekend, Polishchuk dominated play in Ball State's Mid-American Conference debut, winning in straight sets over the Broncos' top singles player, Lindsey Ziegler. Polishchuk took a 6-4, 6-1 decision versus Ziegler. She helped the Cardinals open MAC play 1-0 with BSU's 7-0 sweep over WMU. With the win, Polishchuk remains undefeated in dual action with a 10-0 mark.
 
Women’s Doubles Team of the Week
Slone Teske/Mariona Perez, Toledo, Senior/Grad
The No. 58 Toledo women's tennis team came out victorious in its first Mid-American Conference match of the 2023 season, sweeping Eastern Michigan at Twos Athletic Club, 7-0 on Saturday. Sloane Teske and Mariona Perez won the first court of the afternoon from the No. 1 doubles spot, the duo's fifth-straight win together. The match win was the second-consecutive for the Rockets, who improved to 10-3 and 1-0 in MAC play. The victory also marked the fourth-straight MAC-opening triumph for Toledo as well as its fourth-straight win vs. the Eagles.
