Catherine Denysiewicz-Slowek went 1-1 this past week in singles competition, picking up a 7-5, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles over Liberty and a three-set tiebreaking loss at No. 2 singles versus Michigan State, 1-6, 6-2, 6-7 (7-4).
 
Women’s Doubles Team of the Week
Emilia Valentunsson/Sara Zalukar, Miami, So./So.
Sara Zalukar and Emilia Valentinsson went 2-0 this past weekend at No. 2 doubles, picking up wins over Liberty and Michigan State. The sophomore duo downed the Flames 7-5 and the following day added a 6-4 win over the Spartans, helping the RedHawks secure the doubles point in both matches.
