CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced Tuesday afternoon the 2023 Women's Cross Country Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 80 student-athletes were named to this year’s squad.
Bowling Green led the way with 12 honorees. Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan followed with 9 student-athletes on this year’s team. Ohio had 8, while Northern Illinois and Toledo had 7 honored.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
