The senior forward continues to be a walking double-double as Enrique Freeman notched his ninth double-double of the season with a 20-point, 20-rebound performance in the 94-90 win over Gardner-Webb. Freeman hauled in 20 of the Zips' 40 rebounds against the Runnin' Bulldogs. This was the sixth game in which he recorded 20+ points and 10+ rebounds. He hit a season-high 10 free throws in the home win. Freeman has scored in double-figures in all 11 games this season and was just one rebound away from tying his career high. He also recorded three blocks against Gardner-Webb. Freeman is currently tied for first in double-doubles (9), 1st in rebounds per game (13.5), 2nd in total rebounds (148), 4th in defensive rebounds per game (9.55), and 10th in offensive rebounds per game (3.91). He is also 28th in the country in field goal percentage (.600).

In a pair of home wins, Brian Taylor registered two consecutive double-doubles. The senior notched his second and third double-doubles of the year, and sixth and seventh of his career. Taylor led CMU with a near triple-double, scoring 27 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing a career-high seven assists in 35 minutes vs. Davenport. The outing was his third 20+ game of the year and ninth of his career as he converted on 11-14 FG and 5-7 FTs. He followed that up with 19 points and 11 rebounds, shooting 6-12 from the field, 3-6 from three, and 4-4 from the line in 36 minutes vs. Detroit.
