Defensive Player of the Week
Isabelle Gilmore, Bowling Green, Defender
Junior, DeWitt, Mich. (DeWitt)
For the second-straight week, Bowling Green’s Isabelle Gilmore anchored a BGSU defense that had two shutouts. Gilmore, who has played all 360 minutes in the Falcons’ four MAC matches, helped the Falcons limit Akron to only four shots on goal in a 1-0 BG win on Thursday. With the two shutout wins, BGSU has moved into first place in the MAC. The Falcons have posted four shutouts in four MAC matches, and BGSU has allowed just 10 total shots on goal in the four wins. Gilmore is the lone Falcon to have played every second of every match this season to date.
