MAC Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
Kelly Hoyt, Central Michigan, Midfield
An electric offensive for the Central Michigan Chippewas was highlighted by a career high 6 goals from Junior midfielder Kelly Hoyt. Hoyt scored in every quarter for CMU, with 2 in the first and second quarters and 1 in each of the closing two. 6 goals were also the team high for a well spread-out offense. The Palos Verdes native also tallied one caused turnover and grabbed a ground ball in the Mid-American Conference victory. Both times the Chippewas and Titans have met this season, the wins by CMU have been the largest margin of victory compared to all MAC games to date.
MAC Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Jamie Keller, Robert Morris, GK
Keller won her seventh straight MAC game Saturday against the Golden Flashes, setting a new career high with 14 saves as RMU stayed undefeated in the MAC. Keller conceded just six goals on 20 shots on goal, part of 28 total she faced on the day, for a .700 SV%. Keller made four saves on free-position attempts and also scooped three ground balls in the win.
Other Offensive Player of the Week Nominees
Julia Koterwas, Robert Morris, Attack
Koterwas recorded a new high in both goals and points Saturday in RMU's win over KSU, finishing with four tallies and two helpers to lead all Colonials with six points. The junior fired five shots on goal as the Colonials stretched their MAC unbeaten streak to 17 games.
Natalie Calandra-Ryan, Youngstown State, Attack
Natalie Calandra-Ryan played a large role in the Penguins Mid-American Conference victory over in-state opponent Akron on April 9 at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field. Calandra-Ryan netted a game-high seven goals in a nine-shot outing, upping her total to a conference-leading 46 scores on the season. Calandra-Ryan's seven-goal mark acts as the second-most goals scored in a single game in program history. Adding to her single-game stat line, the Auburn, N.Y. native picked-up six ground balls, grabbed four draw controls and forced four caused turnovers.

Hannah Potter, Central Michigan, Midfield
Hannah Potter capped off her senior celebration at the Central Michigan Lacrosse Complex with a strong defensive effort that led to the victory over Detroit Mercy. The 5th year midfielder was a threat on both sides of the field but made her mark helping defend against the Titans. Potter picked up 4 ground balls and controlled 5 draws for the Chippewas while also causing 3 turn overs. Aside from her assistance on the defensive end, the Noblesville, Indiana native scored 1 goal and assisted on 2. Both times the Chippewas and Titans have met this season, the wins by CMU have been the largest margin of victory compared to all MAC games to date.
Kayla Stecker, Youngstown State, Defense
Kayla Stecker played a pivotal part in the Penguins defensive effort, helping lift YSU over Mid-American Conference opponent Akron on April 9 at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field. Stecker scooped four ground balls and tallied four caused turnovers in the weekend outing.
