CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference today announced its football schedule for the 2022 season.
Each MAC school will play eight conference football games to include five games against divisional opponents and three games against crossover-divisional opponents.
The MAC will release an updated schedule later this spring with game times and television for the first three weeks of the regular season and its midweek MACtion schedule. All remaining game times and television will be announced 12 days prior to the scheduled game. Games will air on ESPN networks (ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU/ESPN+/ESPN3) and CBS Sports Network.
The 2022 conference season will kick off Saturday, September 10 as Ball State hosts Western Michigan and will conclude with the 26th Rocket Mortgage MAC Football Championship game on Saturday, December 3rd (Time TBA). This will mark the 19th MAC Football Championship game at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions.
