MAC Women’s Tennis Singles Player of the Week

Sophomore, Moscow, Russia
Sophomore Diana Lukyuanova went 2-0 in singles on the week with victories over her opponents from Marquette (Emilija Kojcic) and DePaul (Lenka Antonijevic) at No. 2 singles.  Her 6-3, 7-6 win in the Marquette match was a key to NIU's 4-3 victory, giving the Huskies their first win over the Golden Eagles since 2003, breaking a nine-match MU winning streak. She earned NIU's lone point with a 6-2, 6-3 win over DePaul.  She also won both of her doubles matches on the weekend.
 
MAC Women’s Tennis Doubles Players of the Week
Ambre Amat & Lolina Schietekat Sedas, Buffalo     
Buffalo's duo of Ambre Amat and Lolina Schietekat Sedas went a perfect 3-0 this past weekend, winning a pair of matches at second doubles on Friday and one at third doubles on Saturday.  Beginning with Siena, the pair won 6-2, followed by 6-3 wins over St. Bonaventure on Friday night and a big victory over Syracuse on Saturday.
