Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week // Singles
Cassie Alcala, Toledo, Sophomore, Pickerington, Ohio        
Alcala dominated the No. 1 court in singles competition, going 2-0 over the weekend against Youngstown State (Jan. 29) and defending Horizon League Champions UIC (Jan. 30). Alcala contributed to Toledo's back-to-back 5-2 victories over both YSU and UIC. Alcala defeated YSU's Celilia Rosas 6-2, 6-4. The next day, Alcala won a two-set thriller over UIC's Agnes Gustafsson 6-4, 7-6 (7-3). The Rockets are now 3-1 on the season.

Cassie Alcala/ Sloane Teske, Toledo 
Cassie Alcala and Sloane Teske dominated the No. 1 court in doubles competition, going 1-1 over the weekend against Youngstown State (Jan. 29) and defending Horizon League Champions UIC (Jan. 30). Alcala and Teske contributed to Toledo's back-to-back 5-2 victories over both YSU and UIC. The duo contributed to Toledo's doubles point win against Youngstown with a 6-4 victory over Cecilia Rosas/ Julia Marko. The Rockets are now 3-1 on the season.
