Central Michigan senior Corbyn Munson went 5-0 to place first at 157 pounds in the Cleveland State Open. Munson, who is ranked 32nd nationally by Intermat and third in the MAC, improved to 10-4 on the season. He recorded two major decision victories among his five wins in the tournament. In the title match, he defeated Marcus Robinson of Cleveland State, 4-0. Robinson entered the week ranked 28th nationally and second in the MAC.

Redshirt-Senior, Lakewood, NY (Southwestern)     
Giuseppe Hoose continued his hot start to the season by rallying to win a 12-8 decision over North Dakota State's Deanthony Parker. Hoose trailed 7-3 in the third period before earning two takedowns and a four-point nearfall to pull out the win. The redshirt-senior improved to 11-2 overall and 8-2 in duals on the season.
 
Jake Manley, Cleveland State, 133 lbs.
Sophomore, Grand Rapids, Ohio      
Manley won the 133 pound championship at the Cleveland State Open after going 4-0.
 
Keegan Knapp, Kent State, 157 lbs.
Freshman, Lewis Center Ohio          
Knapp picked up a big victory for the Flashes in his first true collegiate dual at #3 Ohio State. The Freshman defeated Isaac Wilcox of the #3 Buckeyes by a 6-3 score. Knapp trailed 2-1 after the first person before getting a take down to even things up 3-3 heading into the final period. The freshman earned his third win of the year with an escape and take down of Wilcox in the third to pull away in the final moments.
