Marreon Jackson, Toledo, Guard

Jackson led the first-place Rockets to a pair of victories last week by averaging 19.0 points, 8.5 assists, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game. In addition, Toledo’s senior point guard shot 56.5 percent (13-of-23) from the field and 54.5 percent (6-of-11) from three-point range. In Toledo’s 87-75 win over Miami, Jackson tallied 18 points, a career-high 11 assists and 10 rebounds for the fourth triple-double in program history. He joined former Rockets Nathan Boothe, Tre'Shaun Fletcher and Luke Knapke who previously achieved the feat under Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk. Jackson then put together another strong all-around performance in the Rockets’ 80-70 win at Buffalo. He recorded a team-high 20 points, six rebounds, six assists and four steals in 35 minutes. Jackson gave the Rockets the lead for good when he scored seven straight points for a 66-61 advantage with just over four minutes to play.Jackson leads the Rockets this season with 17.3 ppg, 6.0 apg, 1.9 spg and a 91.8 FT%.
