Pippen’s back-to-back double-doubles led the Flashes in this week’s game in securing back-to-back wins for Kent State. In the 96-91 victory over BG, Pippen tied his career-high with 34 points and grabbed 11 boards. Pippen also scored his 1,000th career point in the game. He shot 11-of-19 from the floor and connected on 5-of-9 from beyond the arc. Pippen notched his fifth double-double of the season in the 83-76 win over CMU. Pippen scored a game-high 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. He went 10-of-21 from the floor. On the season Pippen is averaging 20.9 points per game and shooting 44.8 percent from the floor and 30.9 from long range.
