Since being inputted into Tigers' starting lineup on Jan. 8, O'Toole has continued to skyrocket up the 165-pound individual rankings. Entered last Saturday's (Jan. 23) Mizzou Tri-Dual ranked as high as No. 12 in the country. In a pair of MAC contests against Ohio and Northern Illinois, O'Toole went 2-0, highlighted by a 5-1 decision over No. 18 Izzak Olejnik (Northern Illinois). Opened last Saturday with a fall over Sean O'Dwyer (Ohio), marking his third pin of the young 2021 campaign and sixth victory resulting in bonus points. His third win via fall is tied for first among Mizzou grapplers.
