CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2020 Men’s Indoor Track & Field Academic All-MAC team on Thursday. The team is made up of 55 student-athletes from the five men's programs in the Conference.
Eastern Michigan’s Chris Devaney leads the conference with a 3.97. The redshirt freshman intends to major in economics.
The Eastern Michigan Eagles lead the conference with 13 student-athletes receiving academic honor. Central Michigan follows with 12 honorees, while Akron, Buffalo and Kent State each have 10 student-athletes on the 2020 team.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
