2019 Baseball Academic All-MAC Team Announced
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced Monday the 2019 Baseball Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 79 student-athletes were named to the team from this past season.
Western Michigan led this year’s squad with a total of 13 student-athletes. Eastern Michigan followed close behind with 12 honorees, while Kent State placed 11 student-athletes on this year's team.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
