Mid-American Conference

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced Monday the Women’s Basketball Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 52 student-athletes were named to the 2019 squad.
 
Miami placed eight student-athletes on this year’s team, while Bowling Green, Central Michigan, NIU and Toledo all followed behind with six honorees.
 
Bowling Green’s Madisen Parker (Middle Childhood Education) and Miami’s Baleigh Reid (Kinesiology) each finished the season with a perfect 4.00 grade point average. 
 
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
