Women's Tennis Drops Match To Western Michigan
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The University of Akron women's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision in Mid-American Conference play on Sunday afternoon at the Sorensen Courts. The Broncos (11-8 overall, 3-1 MAC) took the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and 3. At No. 1 for the Zips (18-5 overall, 3-2 MAC), junior captain Rita Pedroso (Porto, Portugal) and sophomore Miruna Vasilescu (Ulm, Germany) defeated Katja Fevralev and Kristina Tirapolsky, 6-3.

Zips Close Home Regular Season Match With Sweep Over NIU
AKRON, Ohio – In its home finale, the University of Akron women's tennis team swept Northern Illinois, 7-0, in Mid-American Conference play on Friday afternoon at the LaTuchie Tennis Center. The three members of the Senior Class– Luisa Echeverry, Carla Flores, and Sophia Geier – were honored prior to the match.

Women's Tennis Sweeps Buffalo While Norris Posts 100th Career Win
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team took down the Mid-American Conference reigning champion Buffalo this afternoon with a 7-0 sweep at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center, marking head coach Max Norris' 100th career win. With the win, the Cardinals improved to 14-4 overall and 3-2 in conference play while the Bulls fall to 13-5 for the year and 2-2 in league action.

Falcons Top Rockets
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University tennis program came away with their second MAC win of the season with a 4-3 win over Toledo in the Battle of I-75. The match also served as the tennis team's Meserve Cup match. Late match heroics by Vanesa Pardo clinched the win for the Falcons after she overcame an 0-2 deficit in her third and final set. The win moves Bowling Green's overall record to an even 9-9 on the season, including a 2-3 conference standing.

Women's Tennis Sweeps NIU
ROCKFORD, IL – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team closed out their road trip with a 7-0 victory at Northern Illinois on Sunday afternoon, winning all six singles matches in straight sets. The Bulls took the point in doubles with identical 6-1 victories at first and third doubles. At first doubles, Chantal Martinez Blanco and Nikoleta Antoniou Karademitrou came away with the victory, while the third doubles win came courtesy of Emel Abibula and Hsin-Yuan Shih.

MUNCIE, IN – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team lost 7-0 on the road Friday afternoon at Ball State. The Cardinals won at second and third doubles with the first doubles match being stopped at 4-4 between Buffalo's Chantal Martinez Blanco and Nikoleta Antoniou-Karademitrou and Ball State's Sarah Swiderski and Victoria Sec.

Women's Tennis Blanks Dayton
OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami University women's tennis team stayed on a roll Saturday at the Miami Tennis Courts in Oxford, taking down the visiting Dayton Flyers in clean 7-0 sweep. The RedHawks, taking a brief break from conference play, improve to 8-10 overall. The 'Hawks finished the match without dropping a single set. In doubles, after getting a walkover win on court three due to an incomplete lineup, the RedHawks took both of the other two matches as the team of Brindtha Ramasamy and Milana Lysova won at first doubles while Priyana Kalita and Makenzie Myers also took a victory on court two.

RedHawks Get 4-3 Win Over Toledo
OXFORD, Ohio - Pushing its win streak to four matches, the Miami University women's tennis team took down the Toledo Rockets Friday by a score of 4-3 at the Miami University Tennis Courts. The conference-leading RedHawks improve their record to 4-1 in the Mid-American Conference and 7-10 overall. The Rockets had the RedHawks on the ropes early on in doubles, but Miami was able battle back and claim the opening point. Emily Struble and Melati Devi rolled to a quick 6-1 win at court three, but that was negated by a 6-2 Toledo win on two. Brindtha Ramasamy and Milana Lysova found themselves in trouble early on at first doubles, facing 3-0 and 4-1 deficits to start their match.

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University women's team suffered a 7-0 setback to Buffalo at the Boylan Tennis Center Sunday. The Huskies (5-14, 0-6), who were missing three starters from their lineup, lost the doubles point, and were unable to post a victory in singles action.

Women's Tennis Drops Match To Bowling Green
Perrysburg, Ohio - The Toledo women's tennis team fell 4-3 to Bowling Green at the Perrysburg Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon. The match featured a two-set sweep from senior Thalita Rodrigues and a three-set thriller from junior Dee Dee Leenabanchong. The Rockets clinched the doubles point with wins on the No. 1 and No. 3 courts. Leenabanchong and senior Kokoro Chishaki put in work on the No. 1 court, slowly wearing away at Paula Comella/Marharita Tavpash's defenses to win 7-6(9-7).

Rockets Fall To Miami
OXFORD, Ohio - The Toledo women's tennis team fell 4-3 to Miami on Friday in Oxford, Ohio. The match featured two three-set thrillers from freshman Eileen Carney and senior Thalita Rodrigues. The Rockets dropped the doubles point early despite freshman Kiersten Carlson and Rodrigues' 6-2 win on the No. 2 court.
