Ball State:
Cardinals End Weekend With 6-1 Win
MUNCIE, Ind. - Today marked the fifth-straight match for the Cardinals this weekend. Ball State played back-to-back doubleheaders Friday and Saturday, winning both 7-0 and then wrapped up action with a 6-1 victory over Eastern Illinois Sunday afternoon at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. With the win, the Cardinals improved to 8-7 in dual action this spring while the Panthers fall to 9-10 on the season.

Men's Tennis Picks Up Two Wins
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team (7-7) continued its winning ways this weekend with a pair of 7-0 wins over Taylor University Saturday afternoon at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. The day started off again with strong doubles play over the Trojans. Today the Cardinals played an eight game proset in doubles competition instead of six. In both matches, Ball State changed things up on the top court as Marko Guzina paired up with teammate Tom Carneyinstead of his normal doubles partner, twin brother Nemanja.

Cardinals Sweep Doubleheader
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team shut out Indiana University Southeast in Friday's doubleheader, winning both matches at home by a 7-0 decision. With the wins, the Cardinals improved their overall record this spring to 5-7. The Cardinals secured the doubles point in both matches today. In Ball State's first match of the day, the twin brother duo of Nemanja and Marko Guzina edged out a 6-4 win on the top court over Garrett Fensler and Brock Winchell. Both Tom Carney and Thibault De Negri along with Khamasi Muhiga and Alec Robbillard claimed matches over their respective opponents by a score of 6-2.

Men's Tennis Defeats Colgate
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Binghamton men's tennis (8-7) won the doubles point and then captured four of six singles matches to defeat Colgate (3-8) 5-2 Saturday afternoon at Drumlins Country Club.

ITHACA, N.Y. - Host Cornell (7-5) posted a 6-0 win over Binghamton men's tennis (7-7) Friday afternoon at Reis Tennis Center. The Big Red won all six singles matches in straight sets. The teams didn't play doubles.

Buffalo:
Men's Tennis Falls To Princeton
PRINCETON, NJ - The University at Buffalo men's tennis team concluded the weekend with a 6-1 loss at Princeton. The Bulls are now 5-5 on the year. Senior Ethan Nittolo and junior Hao Sheng Koay came away with a 6-3 victory at first doubles, but Princeton came away with wins at two and three. The third doubles match was tight throughout before the Tigers came away with a 7-5 victory to clinch the point.

Bulls Earn 5-2 Win Over Bryant
PRINCETON, NJ – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team secured a 5-2 victory on Friday over Bryant in a neutral site match played at Princeton University. The victory was the fifth of the season for the Bulls. Buffalo began with a strong performance in doubles beginning with its top team of Ethan Nittoloand Hao Sheng Koay, who came away with a 6-2 win. Sophomores Valdemar Holm and Matthew Johnson also won 6-2 at second doubles and Vilhelm Fridell and Nickolas Frisk scored a 6-3 win at third doubles.

Men's Tennis Drops Close Match To Youngstown State
ORLANDO, Fla. – Playing its second match in as many days, the Northern Illinois University men’s tennis team dropped a narrow 4-3 decision to Youngstown State on Sunday afternoon at the USTA National Tennis Center. Five of the six singles matches went to three sets as the Penguins topped the Huskies. NIU (8-7) took the doubles point to claim an early lead. After the Huskies dropped the match at number one, 6-2, junior Bor Schweiger Muzar (Crnomelj, Slovenia/Gimnm) and freshman David Pata (Bucharest, Romania/Emil Racovita) earned a 6-4 win at number two to even the doubles.

Huskies Fall To Valpo
ORLANDO, Fla. – Playing the first match of its spring break trip at the USTA National Tennis Center, the Northern Illinois University men's tennis team fell to Valparaiso, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon. In its first match since February 24, NIU (8-6) took the doubles point to begin the match. Freshman David Pata and junior Bor Schweiger Muzar earned a 6-3 win at number two doubles while senior Eric Marbach (Naperville, Ill./Waubonsie Valley) and senior Erich Schuette were also victorious, 6-3, at number three as the Huskies took a 1-0 lead.

Men's Tennis Tops The Citadel, 6-1
CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Toledo men's tennis team defeated The Citadel 6-1 in Charleston, S.C. to finish off its spring break run. The Rockets swept the Bulldogs in doubles competition with duos Omar Espinosa/Luka VItosevic and Vince Anzalone/Danilo Vukotic posted scores of 6-3 at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots. Juan Carranza/Cole Shoultsdefeated their opponents 6-1 on the No. 3 court.

Broncos Drop Final Non-Conference Match
KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan men's tennis team fell 6-1 versus Drake University during the final non-conference match of the season Sunday, March 10 at West Hills Athletic Club. The Broncos finish non-conference competition with an 8-7 overall record. MAC play begins March 15-16 in Muncie, Ind. versus Ball State and Northern Illinois.
