2019 NCAA Wrestling Championships - Final Team Results and Bracket
PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Missouri earned its fifth consecutive top ten finish at the 2019 NCAA Wrestling Championships with 62.0 team points as four Tigers earned All-American honors and Central Michigan and Old Dominion also posted an All-American to give the MAC six All-Americans for this year's Championships.
Missouri's Daniel Lewis earned his fourth All-American honor with a third place finish at the 174 weight class, while junior Jaydin Eierman earned his third All-American honor with a third place finish as well at the 141 weight class. Missouri junior John Erneste posted his first All-American honor with a fifth-place finish at the 133 weight class, while freshman Brock Mauller earned his first All-American honor with a fifth place finish at the 149 weight class.
Central Michigan junior Matt Stencel placed seventh at the 285 weight class for his first All-American status, while Old Dominion junior Larry Early also earned his first All-American honor with an eighth-place finish at the 157 weight class.

Stencel Claims Seventh Place
PITTSBURGH – He's an All-American and he walks out a winner. When you get a taste, you want more. Central Michigan redshirt sophomore Matt Stencel defeated Wisconsin's Trent Hillger, 3-1, on Saturday afternoon to finish seventh at 285 pounds at the NCAA Wrestling Championships at PPG Paints Arena. The victory capped a 4-2 run through the tournament for Stencel, who last year went winless at the NCAAs. He finished the 2018-19 season 31-6, with 19 pins.

Missouri:
Tigers Earn Fifth Consecutive Top Ten Finish
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Mizzou Wrestling earned a sixth-place finish at the 2019 NCAA Division I Wresting Championships, finishing with a team point total of 62.0. This marks the fifth consecutive season that Mizzou has finished in the top-10 and the ninth top-10 finish under head coach Brian Smith. All nine of those top-10 finishes have come in the last 13 seasons and Coach Smith has nine of the program's all-time top-10 finishes.
In addition to finishing sixth, Mizzou had four All-Americans during the tournament, highlighted by Jaydin Eierman's third-place nod at 141 pounds. Tiger Style also took home an individual award as RS senior Daniel Lewis earned the Gorrarian Award, going to the individual with the most pins in the least amount of time in the tournament. Lewis had three pins in a combined 8:24.

Old Dominion:
Early Places Eighth
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Larry Early finished the 2019 wrestling season as an All-American after taking eighth at the NCAA Championships at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh. Early is now ODU Wrestling's 33rd All-American in school history. In his lone match of the day, Early dropped a close 3-2 decision to Christian Pagdiloa of Arizona State in the seventh place bout. The Illinois native wrapped up his season with a 25-8 mark and a 3-3 record at the NCAA Championships.
