Bulls Earn Senior Day Win Over Ohio
BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team earned a 26-12 win over Ohio at Alumni Arena on Sunday afternoon. It was the Bulls fourth straight dual win and 11th of the season. It was only the fourth time Buffalo beat the Bobcats since joining the Mid-American Conference in 1998. Kyle Akins got the Bulls off to a good start with a 6-4 sudden victory over Trevor Giallombardo at 125. With the match knotted at 4 after regulation, Akins wasted little time, earning a takedown early in overtime to get the 6-4 win.

Kent State:
Flashes Fall To Huskies, 22-13
KENT, Ohio – Kent State swept the three upper weights in a 22-13 loss to Northern Illinois Friday night at the M.A.C. Center. The Huskies won two close matches to start the night and went on to take the first six bouts. The Golden Flashes first win came from sophomore Andrew McNally (184) with a 13-3 victory over Will Feldkamp. McNally scored two takedowns in the first period and a reversal in the second. Working hard for seven minutes, he locked up a cradle late in the third to secure a major decision.

Tigers Break Attendance Mark, But Fall To Oklahoma State
COLUMBIA, Mo. – In front of a program-record crowd of 4,721 at the Hearnes Center, fifth-ranked Mizzou Wrestling dropped a hard-fought, 19-15, decision against former Big 12 rival, No. 2 Oklahoma State Saturday (Feb. 16). The loss snapped Mizzou's 35-dual winning streak, which dated back to the 2016-17 season. It feel just two duals shy of the all-time program record winning streak of 37 duals. The historic dual began with recognizing Tiger Style seniors John Ereneste, Daniel Lewis and Nick Nasenbury, each of whom have helped propel the Tigers as one of the nation's most successful programs throughout the last four years.

Wrestling Gets Second Win Of The Weekend
CLEVELAND – The Northern Illinois University wrestling team stepped out of conference action as it closed its two-match weekend road trip with a 26-7 victory over Cleveland State at Woodling Gym Saturday. NIU (8-9, 2-4) won eight of the 10 bouts, with five Huskies earning their second wins of the weekend. Bryce West (Solon, Iowa/Solon) started things off for NIU with an 11-8 win over Cameron Lathem at 125. Senior Alijah Jeffery (Marion, Iowa/Linn Mar) extended NIU's lead to 6-0 with a 5-3 victory at 133.

Huskies Get Road Win At Kent State
KENT, Ohio – The Northern Illinois University wrestling team opened its two-match weekend road trip with a 22-13 victory over league foe Kent State. NIU (7-9, 2-4) won seven of the 10 bouts, including the first six. Alijah Jeffery opened the match with a 5-1 victory over Tim Rooney at 133. Following a 3-1 decision by Drew West at 141, McCoy Kent posted an 11-2 maj. dec. victory over Kody Komara at 149.

Ohio Wrestling Falls To Buffalo
AMHERST, N.Y. -- The Ohio wrestling team (7-6, 4-3 MAC) dropped its final Mid-American Conference dual meet of the 2018-10 season, falling to host Buffalo (11-4, 4-2 MAC), 26-12, this afternoon at Alumni Arena. The Bulls jumped out to a 9-0 lead with wins in the first two bouts. The dual meet began at 125 pounds, with redshirt senior Kyle Akins earning a 6-4 sudden victory. Redshirt sophomore Derek Spann followed by recording a fall in 6:41 at 133.

Bobcats Dominate At Bloomsburg
BLOOMSBURG, Pa. -- The Ohio wrestling team (7-5) posted wins in eight of 10 weight classes on its way to a 34-9 victory over Bloomsburg (3-10) this evening at Nelson Field House. The Bobcats have come away with wins in four of their last five dual meets. The match began with Bloomsburg gaining a 6-0 lead after junior Willy Girard won by fall in 3:56 at 125 pounds.

Cougars Overpower Truman State
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE collected four falls Sunday in a 50-3 triumph over Truman in college wrestling action at the Vadalabene Center. Lucas Bernal got the Cougars started with the first of four pins. His 4 minute, 28 second victory over Caleb Osborn set the pace. The Cougars also earned first period pins by Justin Ruffin, Cameron Kelly and Sergio Villalobos. Nate Higgins earned a first-period technical fall.
