Over the two-day meet with Toledo, Platts continued to dominate events, including breaking the pool record in the 200 Backstroke en route to defeating the Rockets, 223-129, the Falcons sixth straight win in the aquatic Battle of I-75. Platts placed first in six events, as follows: 400 Medley Relay (3:48.72), 100 Backstroke (55.53), 200 Freestyle (1:54.19), 200 Medley Relay (1:44.81), 200 Backstroke (1:58.02, pool record, one second shy of program record), 200 Individual Medley (2:07.84, led all 200 yards).

Sales swam in six events for the Rockets in last weekend’s Bowling Green dual meet, recording one individual victory and two top-three team finishes. A butterflier, Sales won the 200 fly in 2:05.10, a CSCAA National Invitational Championship qualifying time. Sales also competed in the 100 fly where she took second after finishing in 56.36. In team events, Sales was third in line in UT’s 400 medley relay, second in the 200 freestyle relay, third in the 200 medley relay, and second in the 400 freestyle relay. With Sales’ help, the Rockets took second in the 400 MR (3:48.97), fourth in the 200 FR (1:39.10), second in the 200 MR (1:45.80), and fourth in the 400 FR (3:40.33).
