Matt Stencel, Central Michigan—Sophomore, Oregon, Ohio (Clay High School)
 
Central Michigan sophomore Matt Stencel went 2-0 on the weekend with two pins, improving his record to 18-4 with 14 pins. Stencel pinned freshman Zach Elam, who is No. 1 in the MAC January coaches’ rankings, at 6:38 in the Chippewas’ dual at Missouri on Saturday. Stencel is ranked second in the MAC and 14th nationally by The Open Mat. Elam is ranked 16th nationally. Stencel closed the weekend with a pin in 5:42 on Sunday over Colton McKiernan of SIUE.

Bryan Lantry, Buffalo—Senior, Walworth, N.Y. (Wayne High School)

 
Buffalo senior Bryan Lantry won a key match in a 19-12 victory at Old Dominion on Sunday. The Bulls’ 141-pounder upset eighth-ranked and returning All-American Sa’Derian Perry by major decision, 11-3. Lantry trailed, 2-1, after the first period, but was able to take Perry to his back in the second period to take a commanding 8-2 lead. Lantry scored three points in the third period to complete the major decision victory.
 
Will Feldkamp, Northern Illinois—Redshirt Freshman, Dexter, Mich. (Dexter High School)
 
Northern Illinois redshirt freshman Will Feldkamp was dominant in his two bouts as he helped lead NIU to a pair victories at The Citadel Dual. The Huskie redshirt freshman made quick work of Hofstra's Trey Roger, pinning him in 1:07 in NIU's 33-7 victory over the Pride. Feldkamp followed that performance up by posting his second first-period pin of the day when he took down The Citadel's Martin Duane within 2:19 in the Huskies' 44-3 win over the homestanding Bulldogs.
 
Cameron Kelly, Ohio—Senior, Bellbrook, Ohio
 
Ohio senior Cameron Kelly ran his winning streak to three in a row to improve his record to 9-2 on the season as the Ohio wrestling team (3-4, 1-1 MAC) split a pair of matches last weekend. Kelly was dominant in an 18-3 win by technical fall over sophomore Cory Simpson at 141 pounds, piling up six takedowns and earning four more points with a first-period near fall to help the Bobcats topple MAC rival Kent State, 24-12, in the annual Grudge Match between the two programs last Friday (Jan. 18) at the Convocation Center. He then earned an 8-3 win by decision over sophomore Scott Kiyono on Sunday (Jan. 20) as Ohio fell to host Virginia, 29-9, in Charlottesville.
 
Michael McGee, Old Dominion—Sophomore, Bollingbrook, Ill.
 
Old Dominion sophomore Michael McGee at 125 lbs. defeated 2017 NCAA Qualifier Kyle Akins of Buffalo 13-6 to open up a dual vs. Buffalo. McGee is ranked 18th and owns a 9-0 mark in duals at 125 pounds. The Sunday dual marked McGee’s 10th decision of the season. He leads the Monarchs with 36 dual points.

SIU-Edwardsville freshman Justin Ruffin at 157 lbs. defeated Central Michigan's Logan Parks 3-2. Parks was ranked fourth at 157 lbs. in the MAC Wrestling Rankings for January.
