Men's Tennis Drops Opener At Indiana
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Ball State men's tennis team opened spring action for the second-straight season at Big Ten foe Indiana Sunday afternoon at the IU Tennis Center. The Cardinals suffered a 7-0 loss to the Hoosiers and fell behind early after dropping the doubles point. Conner Andersen paired up with teammate Chris Adams at the No. 3 position and put up a good fight against IU's Payam Ahmadi and Zac Brodney. The twosome lost by only two games (6-4) to the IU duo. The Hoosiers then clinched the doubles point after Bennett Crane and Carson Haskins knocked off Ball State's Tom Carney and Danilo Kovacevic on court two, 6-3.

Toledo:
Men's Tennis Falls At Indiana
Bloomington, Ind. – The Toledo men's tennis team fell, 7-0, to a very tough Indiana team Sunday afternoon. Indiana clinched the doubles point with victories at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. It appeared Rocket duo of Tyler Gargas/Thawin Suksathaporn led their opponents and had a shot at a win before their match was suspended. In singles action, junior Danilo Vukotic fought nationally ranked Bennett Crane at the No. 2 singles position, falling in two hard-fought sets (6-3, 7-5). Senior Luka Vitosevic, playing at the No. 1 spot, the last Rocket standing, fell to Antonio Cembellin 6-1, 7-6 (7-1).

Rockets Fall At Purdue
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Toledo men's tennis team faced a tough Purdue squad on Saturday, dropping the dual match, 6-1. Toledo's lone point came from senior Luka Vitosevic. Vitosevic led the Rockets, securing the only point of the day at the No. 1 singles position. The Belgrade, Serbia native defeated Maksymilian Raupuk in two thrilling sets (6-4, 6-3).

Broncos Take Two From UIC
KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan men's tennis team opened its 2019 spring schedule sweeping the University of Illinois at Chicago with two 7-0 victories on Sunday, Jan. 13 at West Hills Athletic Club. The Broncos began 2019 dual-match play on the right foot, sweeping the Flames. WMU swept doubles to go up 1-0 and won all of its singles matches. The duo of Jannik Opitz and Lenhard Haupt took care of business quickly with a 6-1 victory at the No. 3 position. The No. 2 doubles team of Kennosuke Nouchi & Nick Schnobel won 6-3 to secure the doubles point. Peter Kuszynski/Jack Randallfollowed with a 7-6 (4) win.
