Women's Tennis Tops Akron, 5-2

AKRON, Ohio - The Ball State women's tennis team (11-10, 3-5 MAC) ended its Mid-American Conference regular season on a high note after posting a 5-2 win over Akron (14-12, 3-5 MAC) Sunday afternoon at the UA Tennis Courts. Audrey Berger partnered up with teammate Rebecca Herrington for the early 6-1 win over Anna Ulajanov and Rita Pedroso on the top court to open doubles play. Full Story...

Cardinals Fall To Buffalo

BUFFALO -- The Ball State women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision Friday in Mid-American Conference action at Buffalo. The Bulls (15-3, 8-0 MAC) clinched the MAC regular season championship. The Cardinals (10-10, 2-5 MAC) still have one league match remaining, a Sunday contest at Akron. Full Story...

Buffalo:
Bulls Claim First Ever MAC Regular Season Title


WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – For the first time in school history, the University at Buffalo women's tennis team claimed the MAC Regular Season Title with a 7-0 win over Ball State on Friday afternoon at the Miller Tennis Center.  The Bulls won their 12th straight match as they capped off a perfect 8-0 MAC season.  Overall, the Bulls improve to 15-3 on the season. The afternoon began with a tough doubles contest, which propelled the Bulls into a dominant performance in singles. Ball State won at first doubles before senior Tanja Stojanovska and sophomore Anna Savchenko overcame a slow start to win six straight games in a 6-4 win.  Full Story...

Eagles Top Huskies, 6-1


ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team wrapped up the 2018 regular season by rolling to a 6-1 victory over Mid-American Conference foe Northern Illinois University Friday, April 20, at the Boylan Tennis Center. For the first time since MAC play began, Eastern Michigan (16-9, 3-5 MAC) came away with the doubles point to start the match. Full Story...

Women's Tennis Tops Toledo, 4-3

TOLEDO, Ohio – With seeding on the line, the Miami University women’s tennis team came through with a 4-3 victory at Toledo to clinch a first-round bye and advance straight to the semifinals of the upcoming Mid-American Conference Tournament. The win marks the RedHawks’ fifth in a row and pushes their overall record to 11-8 on the season (7-1 in the MAC).  Full Story...

RedHawks Win Fourth Straight

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Miami University women’s tennis team has been playing strong tennis over the past few weeks of Mid-American Conference play, and Friday was no exception as the RedHawks took down Western Michigan on the road by a score of 4-3. With only one match now left to play in the regular season, the RedHawks improve to 10-8 overall and 6-1 in the MAC. As with each other match this season, the day started with the Red & White claiming the doubles point. Women's Tennis Drops Season Finale


DEKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University women's tennis team concluded the 2017-18 season with a 6-1 loss to Eastern Michigan at the West Tennis Courts Friday. Brodie Walker scored NIU's (5-16, 0-7) lone win on the day, beating Andrea Martinovska at No. 3 singles. Rockets Fall To Miami

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's tennis team fell 4-3 to Miami (Ohio) today to close out the Mid-American Conference regular season. The match started with the Rockets dropping the doubles point. The No. 2 pair of senior Colleen O'Brien and sophomore Dee Dee Leenabanchong were the first duo to finish, defeating Miami's Milana Lysova and Priyana Kalita 6-0.  Full Story...

Women's Tennis Falls In Season Finale

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – With the match coming down to the final match on four, the Western Michigan women's tennis team dropped its final regular season contest in another close one on Sunday afternoon to the Bowling Green Falcons with a final score of 4-3. With the loss, the Broncos conclude the season at 11-13 overall, 9-3 at home and 2-6 in the MAC. Full Story...

Broncos Fall To Miami, 4-3

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Junior Melina Lyubomirova earned her tenth consecutive victory for the Western Michigan women's tennis team on Friday afternoon but it wasn't enough as the Broncos fell 4-3 to the Miami Redhawks. The match, which was the first contest outside in Kalamazoo for WMU, drops the Broncos to 11-12 overall and 2-5 in the Mid-American Conference. The loss was only just the second all season at home for WMU as they are now 9-2 in Kalamazoo. The Redhawks got things started by clinching the doubles point at No. 1 and No. 3. Full Story...
