Men's Tennis Falls At Notre Dame

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team (13-9) suffered a 7-0 loss at No. 28 Notre Dame (15-12) Sunday afternoon at the Eck Tennis Pavilion. Collin Rigney paired up with teammate Nemanja Guzina and were the first twosome off the court for the Cardinals.  Full Story...

Cardinals Defeat IUPUI, 5-2

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team (13-8) defeated IUPUI (7-15) 5-2 in mid-week non-conference action Wednesday afternoon at the West Indy Racquet Club. In doubles action, the Cardinals earned the first point of the day by winning two of the three matches.  Nemanja Guzina and partner Collin Rigney opened up the day with a 6-2 win over Bradley Luetschwager and Grant Weaver. Full Story...

Bearcats Fall To Western Michigan

VESTAL, N.Y. - Conference-leading Western Michigan (18-4, 5-0 Mid-American Conference) won a tightly contested doubles point and then rolled to five singles wins en route to a 6-1 defeat of Binghamton men's tennis (3-16, 0-5 MAC) Friday afternoon at the Bearcats Tennis Complex. Junior No. 5 Inigo Saez provided BU with its lone point with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 win over Eric Olivarez.  Full Story...

Buffalo:
Bulls Fall To Broncos

WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team had their three-match winning streak snapped on Sunday as league-leading Western Michigan defeated the Bulls 5-2 at the Miller Tennis Center.  The Bulls are now 10-9 on the season and 3-2 in league play. Western Michigan, who clinched the #1 seed with the win in the upcoming MAC Tournament, took the doubles point early on with a pair of 6-2 wins at one and three.  It was the second time this season that the Broncos have taken the doubles point from UB, winning at one and three in both occasions. Full Story...

Northern Illinois:
Huskies Win Third Straight


ROCKFORD, Ill – For the third consecutive match, the Northern Illinois University men's tennis team rallied from behind after dropping the doubles point as the Huskies claimed a 5-2 victory over Toledo on Friday afternoon at Boylan Tennis Center. With the win, NIU improved to 15-6 overall, 5-1 in MAC play. Toledo took the doubles point to take the early lead. The Rockets took the first match to finish at number three, 6-3, before senior Georg Lundkvist and sophomore Bor Schweiger Muzar claimed a 7-6 win over Vince Anzalone and Thawin Suksathaporn at number two, leveling the doubles. Full Story...

Rockets Fall To Huskies, 5-2

DeKalb, Ill. - The Toledo men's tennis team fell 5-2 on the road at Northern Illinois on Friday. Toledo started the day by clinching the doubles point. The duo of junior Luka Vitosevic/sophomore Danilo Vukotic won in the No. 1 spot with a score of 7-5 to put the Rockets up early. Junior Serjen Olmedo and Carranza then came together in the No. 3 spot and won 6-2 to clinch the point for UT. Full Story...

Men's Tennis Clinches MAC Regular Season Title

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team clinched the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Mid-American Conference Tournament with a 5-2 win at Buffalo on Sunday morning. With the victory, the Broncos snapped the Bulls' three-match winning streak and are now riding a season-high eight-match winning streak to improve to 19-4 overall and 6-0 in the league. The regular season title is the first since the spring of 2016, 24th overall in program history and ninth under head coach Dave Morin. Full Story...

Broncos Improve To 5-0 In The MAC

VESTAL, N.Y. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team picked up its seventh straight victory after defeating Binghamton 6-1 on the road Friday afternoon. With the win, the Broncos remain the only undefeated team in the Mid-American Conference, improving to 18-4 overall this year and 5-0 in the league. Junior duo of Nick Schnobel and Eric Olivarez along with senior duo of Maik Steiner and Billy Heckman each earned wins in doubles play at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, to clinch the doubles point and get the Broncos started early. Full Story...
