Women's Tennis Falls To Miami
OXFORD, Ohio – The University of Akron women's tennis team fell in Mid-American Conference action at Miami (Ohio), 5-2, on Sunday afternoon at the Riverside Athletic Club. The RedHawks (7-8, 3-1 MAC) claimed the doubles point against the Zips (12-10 overall, 1-3 MAC) with wins at the No. 1 and 3 spots. In singles action, the Zips earned victories at the No. 5 and 6 spots.

Zips Drop 6-1 Decision at Bowling Green
PERRYSBURG, Ohio – The University of Akron women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision at Bowling Green in Mid-American Conference action on Friday afternoon at the Perrysburg Tennis Center. The Falcons (11-5, 3-0 MAC) claimed the doubles point against the Zips (12-8 overall, 1-2 MAC) with wins at the No. 1 and 2 spots. Play at No. 3 was halted once the point was won.

Women's Tennis Falls At Eastern Michigan
YPSILANTI, Mich. - The Ball State women's tennis team (7-8, 0-3 MAC) lost, 4-3, to Eastern Michigan (13-4, 2-1 MAC) Friday afternoon at the Chippewa Racquet Club. For the third-straight MAC match, the Cardinals took the doubles point from their respective league opponent. Ball State fell early in doubles play losing the first match on the top court, 6-3.

Women's Tennis Falls To Buffalo
PERRYSBURG, Ohio – The Bowling Green tennis program (11-6, 3-1 MAC) suffered a 7-0 loss to Buffalo (11-3, 4-0 MAC) Sunday afternoon at the Perrysburg Tennis Center. The narrow competition was a battle for first place in the Mid-American Conference standings as both teams entered the match with undefeated 3-0 records. The Falcons were able to earn one doubles win and ultimately fought through three narrow third-set battles against the Bulls, but were not able to seal a singles win against the defending MAC Tournament Champions.

Falcons Continue Their Winning Ways
PERRYSBURG, Ohio – The Bowling Green tennis program (11-5, 3-0 MAC) extended its win streak to five straight on Friday afternoon as it downed Akron (12-9, 1-2 MAC) by a score of 6-1 in MAC play. The Falcons cruised to the doubles point after courts one and two both gained 6-2 victories, before adding to the day's wins with five straight-set victories in singles play.

Buffalo:
Women's Tennis Wins Seventh Straight
BOWLING GREEN, OH – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team won their eighth straight match and improved to 4-0 in league play with a 7-0 sweep of Bowling Green on Sunday afternoon. The Falcons entered the match also undefeated in league play, but fell to a red-hot UB squad. With the win, the Bulls improve to 11-3 on the year overall. The Bulls opened with two of the three wins at doubles, scoring victories at two and three. Senior Tanja Stojanovska and sophomore Anna Savchenko won at two, 6-4, while sophomore Emel Abibula and junior Arianna Paules Aldrey won at third doubles, 6-2.

Bulls Dominate Singles Action in Win At Miami
OXFORD, OH – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team won all six singles matches on Friday afternoon as the Bulls won their seventh straight match and remained unbeaten in MAC play with a 6-1 win at Miami. The Bulls are now 10-3 on the year and 3-0 in league play. The RedHawks took the doubles point with 6-4 wins at one and three, but the Bulls did score a win at second doubles as Anna Savchenko and Tanja Stojanovska won, 6-2.

Women's Tennis Drops 4-3 Decision To Western Michigan
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team fell in a 4-3 heartbreaker at Mid-American Conference rival Western Michigan University Sunday, April 1, at the West Hills Athletic Club. EMU (14-5, 2-2 MAC) fell behind after losing the doubles point and could never quite recover, as WMU (11-7, 2-0 MAC) would rattle off wins at No. 2, 3, and 4 singles to seal the conference victory.

YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team swept its doubleheader against Ball State University and Saginaw Valley State University on Friday, March 30, defeating the BSU Cardinals 4-3 at the Chippewa Racquet Club, while sweeping aside SVSU 7-0 at the University of Michigan Varsity Tennis Courts.

Women's Tennis Bounces Back With Win Over Akron
HAMILTON, Ohio - In a match that came down to the wire, the Miami University women's tennis team pulled out a 5-2 win over visiting University of Akron Sunday at Riverside Athletic Club. With the win, the RedHawks improve their conference record to 3-1 and now sit at 7-8 overall on the year. Miami began the match by owning the doubles session, something that the `Hawks have now done in all conference matches thus far.

Miami falls to 6-8 overall on the season and slips to 2-1 in the Mid-American Conference. Women's Tennis Falls At Toledo
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Northern Illinois University women's tennis team suffered a 6-1 defeat at the hands of Toledo in Mid-American Conference action at Toledo Sunday afternoon. Brodie Walker (Bristol, England/Bristol Grammar School) extended her winning streak to four as she defeated Claire Aleck in three sets at No. 5 singles. After losing the first set, 3-6, Walker won the second, 6-4 and the third 7-6 winning the tiebreaker 7-4.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Northern Illinois University women's tennis team fell, 5-2, in Mid-American Conference play at Western Michigan Friday afternoon. NIU (5-12, 0-3) won two singles matches on the day and a doubles match in the loss. Brodie Walker (Bristol, England/Bristol Grammar School) won her third consecutive match, scoring a 6-3, 4-1 victory over Gabriela Slova. Slova retired in the middle of the second set.

Women's Tennis Downs Eastern Michigan
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team picked up its fifth straight win, and second in the Mid-American Conference, after taking down Easter n Michigan 4-3 at West Hills Athletic Club on Sunday afternoon. The Broncos (11-7, 2-0 MAC) took the early lead after winning the doubles point. Denise Azcui and Jeryn Jack defeated EMU's Giuliana Ansaloni at the No. 2, 6-0. Barbare Eristavi and Valentia Sanchez Briend handled the Eagles' No. 3 team of Andera Martiovska and Anna Veleva, 6-2.

Broncos Defeat Huskies In MAC Opener
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team began Mid-American Conference play with a 5-2 win over Northern Illinois on Friday afternoon inside the West Hills Athletic Club. The Broncos have now won three straight, improving their overall mark to 10-7 with a 1-0 league record. In doubles, the duo of junior Denise Azcui and freshman Jeryn Jack started the Broncos off with a 6-2 win at No. 3 before the Huskies took the win at the two.
