Cardinals Drop 4-3 Decision To Huskies

DEKALB, Ill. - The Ball State men's tennis team (12-7, 2-2 MAC) suffered a 4-3 heartbreaking loss to Northern Illinois (13-6, 3-1 MAc) Saturday afternoon in Mid-American Conference action. Buffalo:
Bulls Sweep Monmouth

WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team snapped their three-match losing skid with a dominating 4-0 victory over Monmouth on Saturday afternoon at the Miller Tennis Center. The Bulls improve to 8-8 with the win. Due to Monmouth playing another match on Saturday evening, the two teams chose to play doubles second only if it was needed to decide the match. Men's Tennis Falls At Columbia

NEW YORK, NY – The senior duo of Petr Vodak and Vidit Vaghela continued to dominate doubles action as they picked up another win over a nationally ranked squad on Friday in a 7-0 loss at 13th ranked Columbia. Vodak and Vaghela defeated Jack Lin and William Matheson 6-4 at first doubles.  The pair from Columbia was ranked 34th in the nation coming into the match. Northern Illinois:
Huskies Defeat Ball State, 4-3

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men's tennis team trailed Ball State, 3-1, before winning the final three singles matches to claim a 4-3 victory on Saturday afternoon at Boylan Tennis Center. With the victory, NIU improves to 13-6 overall, 3-1 in Mid-American Conference play. Ball State took the doubles point to take an early 1-0 lead. Senior Eric Marbach (Naperville, Ill./Waubonsie Valley) and freshman Kristopher Ortega (Homer Glen, Ill./Seton Home Study School) were victorious at number two, 6-4, over Marko Guzina and Conner Andersen, but the Cardinals clinched the point with a 7-6 win at number three. Full Story...
