Ball State:
Men's Tennis Takes Down Toledo

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team (12-5, 2-1 MAC) took down Toledo (3-12, 0-3 MAC) by a score of 5-2 in Mid-American Conference action Saturday afternoon at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. Chris Adams teammed up with Tom Carney for a quick win at three doubles over Toledo's Serjen Olmedo and Juan Carranza to start today's competition for Ball State. Full Story...

Binghamton:
Men's Tennis Falls At Penn


PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Host Penn (10-9) swept the doubles matches and took five of the six singles contests to pin a 6-1 loss on Binghamton men's tennis (3-13) Sunday afternoon at the Hecht Tennis Center. Freshman No. 6 Alejandro Pena provided BU's with its lone point with a 7-6 (5), 6-1 victory.  Full Story...

Buffalo:
Men's Tennis Drops Match At Harvard

CAMBRIDGE, MA – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team fell 4-0 to #27 Harvard on Saturday afternoon.  UB picked up one victory in doubles play, but otherwise could not defeat the Crimson during singles action. Seniors Vidit Vaghela and Petr Vodak won their match at first doubles, 6-3, however, Harvard won the other two doubles matches, 6-3 and 6-1, respectively. Full Story...

Bulls Fall At Cornell

ITHACA, NY- The University at Buffalo men's tennis team lost a 7-0 decision at Cornell on Thursday night, beginning a stretch of three straight games against Ivy League competition. Cornell is currently ranked #41 in the nation and they took the doubles point easily with a pair of 6-1 win.  In singles, the Big Red won five of the six matches in straight sets with senior Vidit Vaghela the lone Bull who was able to make it to a third set.  He won his opening set 6-3 at fifth singles before droping the final two, 6-3, 6-3. Full Story...

Huskies Upended By Western Michigan

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Northern Illinois University men's tennis team fell at Western Michigan, 6-1, on Friday afternoon in its Mid-American Conference road opener. With the setback, the Huskies are now 12-6 overall, 2-1 in conference play. Full Story...

Toledo:
Women's Tennis Drops Match To Akron

Akron, Ohio - The Toledo women's tennis team fell 5-2 today in a road match against Akron to close out the opening weekend of Mid-American Conference competition. Toledo started the day by barely losing the doubles point. Senior Colleen O'Brien and sophomore Dee Dee Leenabanchong came together in the No. 2 spot and earned their 13th-straight doubles match victory by beating their opponents 6-2. Senior Megan Miller and Rodrigues forced a tiebreak in the No. 3 spot but ultimately loss 7-6 (4). Full Story...

Rockets Fall At Ball State

Muncie, Ind.  - The Toledo men's tennis team fell 5-2 to Ball State today in UT's third Mid-American Conference match of the season. Toledo dropped the doubles point but put up a fight in singles play. Junior Serjen Olmedo secured the Rockets' first point by sweeping his opponent 6-3, 6-1 in the No. 4 spot. Junior Vince Anzalone earned Toledo's second point after sweeping his opponent 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 1 spot. Full Story...

Western Michigan:
Broncos Roll Past NIU, 6-1

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan men's tennis team defeated the Huskies of Northern Illinois 6-1 on Friday afternoon inside the West Hills Athletic Club, improving to 14-4 on the season, 8-0 at home and 3-0 in the Mid-American Conference. Western Michigan got hot right out of the gate winning the doubles point as both Lenhard Haupt/Maik Steiner and Nick Schnobel/Eric Olivarez picked up victories.  The Broncos then rallied off five of the six singles matches as Steiner, Jannik Opitz, Kennosuke Nouchi, Haupt, and Matej Svjetlicic tallied wins. Full Story...
