Ball State:
Men's Tennis Splits Saturday Matches
EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Ball State men's tennis team (8-2) went 1-1 Saturday in the state of Michigan when the Cardinals dropped their first match to Michigan State by a score of 4-0 and then went on to win their afternoon match 4-1 against Detroit Mercy. Both matches were played at the MSU Indoor facility at Michigan State. The Cardinals went 1-1 in doubles action losing the first doubles point to the Spartans in their early match but rebounded nicely with the victory over the Titans in the afternoon competition. Ball State's No. 2 doubles tandem of Marko Guzina and Conner Andersen defeated Detroit Mercy's Ismail Kadyrov and Nathan Ponton, 6-3. Chris Adams and Tom Carney then clinched the doubles win over the Titans with their 6-2 take down on court three over Gvidas Motuzas and Adam Zychowicz.

Binghamton:
Men's Tennis Falls To Temple
PHILADELPHIA - Host Temple (6-3) won the doubles point and five of the six singles matches to defeat visiting Binghamton (3-8) 6-1 Saturday night at the Legacy Tennis Center. Junior No. 4 Valentin Bouchet earned the Bearcats' lone win with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Eric Biscoveanu.

Bearcats Beaten By Drexel
PHILADELPHIA - Host Drexel (5-4) clinched the doubles point in the final match and then won four of the six ensuing singles matches to pin a 5-2 loss on Binghamton men's tennis (3-7) Friday night at the Hecht/Hamlin Center. After the teams split two doubles matches, the Dragons seized the opening team point with a tiebreak win at No. 1. Drexel then used a pair of three-set singles victories to provide its winning margin.

Buffalo:
Bulls Sweep Cleveland State 7-0
WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team won their second straight match on Sunday afternoon as the Bulls came away with a 7-0 win over Cleveland State at the Miller Tennis Center. Buffalo is now 5-4 on the season following the win. UB began the dominating effort in doubles as the number one squad of Petr Vodak and Vidit Vaghela lost just one game in a 6-1 win. The Bulls clinched the doubles point following a 6-3 victory from Ethan Nittolo and Hao Sheng Koay at second doubles.

Men's Tennis Tops Wright State
DAYTON, Ohio – The Northern Illinois University men's tennis team picked up its ninth victory of the season on Sunday morning as the Huskies defeated Wright State, 5-2. The Huskies took the doubles points to take a 1-0 lead in the match. Sophomore Bor Schweiger Muzar and senior Georg Lundkvist took the match at number one, 6-1, over Michal Kianicka and Fernando Nardelli. NIU then clinched the point when freshman Kristopher Ortega and junior Erich Schuette finished off a 6-4 win over Javier Alvarez de la Villa and Donovan Cellupica-Towers at number three.

Huskies Drop Weekend Opener at Xavier
CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Northern Illinois University men's tennis team fell to Xavier, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon. Senior Louis-Philippe Hamel (Drummondville, Quebec, Canada) picked up the lone point for the Huskies with a singles victory at number three. With the setback, the Huskies are now 8-4 on the season.

Men's Tennis Falls At Notre Dame
Notre Dame, Ind. – The Toledo men's tennis team fell, 7-0, to No. 17 Notre Dame on the road today, giving the Rockets a 1-1 record for the weekend. The loss came two days after the Rockets topped Wayne State 4-3 at home.

Rockets Defeat Wayne State In Friday Showdown
Toledo, Ohio - The Toledo men's tennis team registered its first victory of the season with a 4-3 win over Wayne State on Friday evening. Toledo's victory started with a sweep in the doubles competition. Luka Vitosevic and Danilo Vukotic combined to win 6-3 at the No. 1 doubles spot. Thawin Suksathaporn and Reid Teatsorth also won 6-3 while playing in the No. 2 doubles spot. The pairing of Vince Anzalone and Serjen Olmedo didn't finish their set, but they led 5-3 when play was stopped.

Broncos Sweep Sunday Competition
KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The No. 31-ranked Western Michigan men's tennis team picked up two wins at home on Sunday at West Hills Athletic Club. The Broncos defeated both Dayton (5-2) and Ferris State (6-1) to remain perfect home this season at 7-0. The Broncos took care of business in the morning match defeating the Flyers of Dayton 5-2. WMU picked up doubles wins from Nick Schnobel/Eric Olivarez and Opitz/Nouchi in the doubles.The Brown and Gold didn't look back in singles play with wins from Opitz, Lenhard Haupt, Matej Svjetlicic, and Eric Olivarez.

Men's Tennis Downs Valpo, 6-1
VALPARAISO, Ind. – No. 31 Western Michigan men's tennis returned to its winning ways on Friday afternoon after defeating Valparaiso 6-1, on the road, inside the Match Point Tennis Complex. The Broncos improve to 9-2 overall and will return home Sunday, Feb. 25 to host a doubleheader against Dayton and Ferris State. The day was mostly all Western Michigan as the team began the match sweeping the doubles point. Doubles partners Eric Olivarez and Nick Schnobel continued their dominance at the No. 2 spot, winning 7-5 and improving their record to 11-5 overall and 5-1 in dual match play.
