Eagles Earn 4-3 Win Over Lamar

Beaumont, Texas — The Eastern Michigan University tennis team rallied from down 3-0 against Lamar University to win 4-3 over the Cardinals Thursday, Feb. 22, getting crucial victories from the freshmen duo of Giuliana Ansaloni (Bergamo, Italy-Centro Studi Leonardo Da Vinci) and Natalia Regalado (Alicante, Spain-IES Figueras Racheco)at No. 3 and 5 singles, respectively, to secure the win at the Beaumont Municipal Tennis Center.  Full Story...

Women's Tennis Continues Roll With Win at Texas State

SAN MARCOS, Texas – For the second consecutive day, the Eastern Michigan University tennis team pulled off a sweep of their opponent, this time tossing aside Texas State University, 4-0, on a rainy afternoon at Bobcat Tennis Facility. Merely 12 hours after defeating Incarnate Word, 6-0, Eastern (6-3) was once again forced into a shortened match because of inclement weather, this time playing through the elements outdoors at Texas State's (0-6) home court.  Full Story...

Eagles Sweep Incarnate Word, 6-0

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team kicked off the Texas portion of its road trip Tuesday evening with a clean 6-0 sweep of the University of the Incarnate Word at John Newcombe Tennis Ranch. EMU (5-3) and UIW (0-4) were originally scheduled to play Wednesday morning as part of a two-match day for the Eagles, but inclement weather cancelled the Green and White's match against St. Mary's and moved their match against Incarnate Word indoors. Because of the venue change, the match began with singles play instead of doubles. Eastern came out firing on all cylinders, sweeping aside the Cardinals with relative ease.  Full Story...
