Ball State:
Cardinals Extend Win Streak To Seven

MUNCIE, Ind.- The Ball State men's tennis team (7-1) extended its win streak to seven with its 4-3 win over Lipscomb (2-5) Saturday afternoon in the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. The Cardinals took the early 1-0 edge over Lipscomb after winning the doubles point.  Marko Guzina and Conner Andersen registered a 6-3 win over Jorge Ortegon and Daniel Cardena on court two before Tom Carney and Chris Adams clinched the point with their 6-4 victory over Francesco Tacconi and Pedro Uribe at the No. 3 position.  Full Story...

Binghamton:
Men's Tennis Splits Two At Navy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Binghamton men's tennis (3-6) split a pair of matches Saturday at Tose Family Tennis Center, losing to host Navy 5-2 before rallying to defeat George Mason 4-3. Against the Midshipmen (13-4), BU took the doubles point with wins at Nos. 2 and 3 but Navy rallied with five singles wins. Later in the day against GMU (2-4), the Bearcats reversed the script, losing the doubles point before winning four of six singles matches to pull out the win. The match was even at 3-3 before sophomore No. 2 Kushaan Nath finished off a 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 victory over Jakob Nielson to clinch the team win for the Bearcats.  Full Story...

Buffalo:
Bulls Top Duquesne, 6-1

WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – Playing in front of the home crowd for the first time this season, the University at Buffalo men's tennis team came away with a dominating 6-1 victory over Duquesne at the Miller Tennis Center on Friday afternoon. It began in doubles as the Bulls won all three matches by an identical 6-2 score.  Seniors Petr Vodak and Vidit Vaghela won at first doubles, while Hao Sheng Koay and Ethan Nittolo scored a win at second doubles.  Sophomore Villhelm Fridell and freshman Matthew Johnson won at third doubles.  Full Story...

Northern Illinois:
Huskies Claim 5-1 Win Over IUPUI

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men's tennis team picked up its eight win of the season on Sunday as the Huskies defeated IUPUI, 5-1, at Boylan Tennis Center. NIU won the doubles point and took victories at each of the top-five singles positions to beat the Jaguars. A pair of 6-3 doubles wins gave NIU (8-3) the first point of the day. Senior Georg Lundkvist and sophomore Bor Schweiger Muzar topped Bradley Luetschwager and Grant Weaver at number one while seniors Louis-Philippe Hamel and Tom Hjertonsson defeated Ethan Mardanus-Budiono and Jac Newis. Full Story...

Toledo:
Men's Tennis Falls To Green Bay

Milwaukee, Wis. - The Toledo men's tennis team concluded a weekend of matches in Milwaukee with a 4-3 loss to the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay on Sunday. The Rockets' points came from the respective No. 3, 4 and 5 singles spots of Luka Vitosevic, Thawin Suksathaporn and Reid Teatsorth, who each defeated their opponents in straight sets. Rockets Drop Road Contest At Marquette

TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Toledo's men's tennis team fell 6-1 to Marquette today at Helfaer Tennis Stadium in Milwaukee, Wis. The Rockets point came from Luka Vitosevic in the number three spot who was able to sweep his singles match in two sets.  Full Story...

Western Michigan:
Bronco's Five-Game Winning Streak Snapped

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team saw its five-match winning streak snapped at No. 13-ranked Michigan with a score of 4-0 in its first match against a nationally ranked team this season. The loss hands the Broncos just their second of the spring and are now 8-2 overall and 2-1 against Big Ten opponents. The Wolverines started things off by taking the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2. The Bronco duo of Kennosuke Nouchi / Jannik Opitz were forced with the tough task of facing No. 9-ranked Wolverine doubles partners of Knight / Hua at the one but fell 6-2 while Lenhard Haupt / Maik Steiner were also charged with a loss in their first match of the season together.  Full Story...

Broncos Remain Undefeated at Home

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan men's tennis team defeated the University of William & Mary 6-1 inside the West Hills Athletic Club on Saturday afternoon. The Broncos improve to 8-1 overall, 5-0 at home and extend their winning streak to five. Western Michigan got off to a steaming start sweeping the doubles point. The new duo of juniors Lenhard Haupt and Kris Knof got it started off winning their doubles match 6-3, and improving to 1-0 together. Full Story...
