Buffalo:
Bulls Can’t Capitalize on Early Momentum and Fall at #6 Missouri, 30-8
COLUMBIA, MO – The University at Buffalo wrestling team won its first two matches against sixth-ranked Missouri, but eventually lost to the high-powered Tigers, 30-8, at the Hearnes Center on Sunday afternoon. The loss snapped the Bulls' two-match win streak. Kyle Akins got the Bulls off to a great start with a second-period pin of Cameron Valdiviez at 125 lbs. It was Akins' second pin in his last three matches and gave the Bulls a 6-0 lead. Derek Spann followed with a 6-2 decision over Allan Hart at 133. Spann recorded two reversals to help win the match. With the win, the Bulls redshirt-sophomore improved to a perfect 7-0 on the season.

Kent State:
McNally Wins 184-Pound Crown at Cleveland State Open
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Kent State sophomore Andrew McNally won his second 184-pound title of the season Saturday at the Cleveland State Open. McNally was one of five Golden Flashes with top six finishes Saturday at Woodling Gym. McNally went 4-0 with a pin and a major decision in his first and second bouts respectively. He allowed only two points in four matches.
In his final bout, McNally topped Northwestern’s Jack Jessen 5-1, moving to 18-4 on the season. Sophomore Cory Simpson (141) dropped his opening bout, prior to capturing four straight victories in a sixth-place finish. The Flashes placed two wrestlers at 197 as Shane Mast and Colin McCracken finished fourth and sixth respectively. Mast reached the semifinals, while McCracken earned three convincing wins with scores of 7-0, 10-4, 9-4.

Missouri:
Tigers Win 25th Straight Dual
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Wrestling picked up its 25th consecutive dual win, a streak that dates back to the 2016-17 season, and its 11th straight Mid-American Conference dual as it defeated Buffalo, 30-8, Sunday afternoon (Dec. 16) at the Hearnes Center. RS senior Daniel Lewis picked up his 100th career win with his 42nd career pin at 174 pounds and Mizzou won the dual with five freshmen in the starting lineup, including three true freshmen.

Ohio:
Bobcats Fall at No. 23 Iowa State
AMES, Iowa -- The Ohio wrestling team (1-2) fell to No. 23-ranked Iowa State (2-1), 33-6, tonight at Hilton Coliseum. Redshirt junior Zach Carson (Akron, Ohio) and freshman Colt Yinger (Nelsonville, Ohio) accounted for the Bobcats' two individual victories over the Cyclones.
