Wrestling Falls At Hofstra
HEMPSTEAD, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team couldn't capitalize on a tremendous start and lost to Hofstra, 22-17, in a non-conference dual at the Mack Complex on Saturday afternoon. The Bulls jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the dual, but the Pride rallied for the win. Kyle Akins led things off with a 6-4 decision over Jacob Martin at 125 to give the Bulls a 3-0 lead. With the win, Akins improved to 8-3 in duals on the year. Bryan Lantry followed with a third-period pin of Garrett Lambert to extend the Buffalo lead to 9-0. Lantry's pin, his first of the season, came 36 seconds into the final period.

Missouri:
Tigers Top No. 5 Oklahoma State
STILLWATER, Okla. – No. 3 Mizzou Wrestling (16-0, 6-0 MAC) overcame a 9-0 deficit after two bouts to comeback and defeat No. 5 Oklahoma State (8-2, 4-0 Big 12), 21-19, Saturday night at Gallagher Iba Arena. The win was the first win for the Tigers over the Cowboys since 2015, and the first on the road since 2009 when Mizzou upended the Pokes, 28-6. Mizzou improves to 16-0 on the season, only the second time in program history Mizzou has started a season with 16 consecutive victories, matching the 2014-15 Tigers who finished the season 24-0.

Northern Illinois:
Huskies Fall To North Dakota State
DEKALB, Ill.– The Northern Illinois University wrestling team fell to Big 12 opponent North Dakota State, 34-3, inside the NIU Convocation Center on Sunday afternoon. The Huskies were led by Bryce Gorman at 184. The redshirt-junior defeated Cole Witzig of North Dakota State, 8-4. Gorman is 7-6 this season and 3-4 in dual meets.

Old Dominion:
Monarchs Downed By Virginia
NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion (7-6, 3-1 MAC) wrestling team dropped a non-conference dual to Virginia (4-7, 0-2 ACC) by a score of 25-10 in the Ted Constant Center on Sunday afternoon. Larry Early, Antonio Agee, and Alex Madrigal earned victories for the Monarchs. Starting the match at 157, Larry Early picked up a decision over Fred Green to give the Monarchs a 3-0 lead.
