KENT, Ohio – The Kent State soccer team (6-3-1, 2-0 MAC) defeated the Eastern Michigan Eagles (3-7-1, 0-2 MAC), 1-0, to sweep the first weekend of MAC competition. The Golden Flashes battled extreme heat conditions as freshman Rachel Ernst scored the match's only goal, and Kent State did not relinquish the lead.

ATHENS, Ohio — The Ohio Women's soccer team (5-5-0, 2-0-0 MAC) continued conference play with a 3-0 shutout over Central Michigan (5-4-1, 0-20 MAC) at Chessa Field on a warm Sunday (Sept. 24) afternoon.

Buffalo, N.Y. – The NIU women's team (5-3-1, 2-0 MAC) won their second-straight match to start their conference schedule by a final of 2-0 over Buffalo (3-5-1, 1-1 MAC). The Huskies got their fourth shutout of the 2017 season as goalkeeper Amy Annala made eight saves to pass the 300-mark to become the third women's soccer keeper to reach that plateau.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- The Bowling Green State University women's soccer team pierced the goal three times in the first half during an impressive 4-1 triumph over Miami on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 24). The Falcons' first Mid-American Conference victory of 2017 was held in front of 353 fans at Cochrane Stadium. Skylar Fleak led the way with five points, while Maureen Kennedy posted two assists and tied a BGSU record.
