TOLEDO, Ohio - Senior forward Sophie Pohl registered the match-winning goal and added an assist as Toledo rolled to a 3-1 win over Miami in the its Mid-American Conference opener on Friday at Scott Park.

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's soccer team (3-4-1, 1-0-0 MAC) opened up Mid-American Conference play on Friday night in impressive fashion as they were able to blank the visiting Western Michigan Broncos in front of the home fans at UB Stadium, 2-0. With the win, senior goalkeeper Laura Dougall now owns program records for wins (35) and shutouts (30) over her illustrious four-year UB career.

AKRON, Ohio – The NIU women's soccer team (4-3-1, 1-0 MAC) won their Mid-American Conference opener over Akron (1-7-1, 0-1 MAC) by a score of 2-1. Both of the NIU goals were scored in the first half as Haley Hoppe (Austin, Texas/Rosue) and Kyleigh Dominguez (Geneva, Ill./Cincinnati) scored their first goals as Huskies.
