AKRON, Ohio- Senior Anna Tarpley (Jacksonville, Fla.) became the second Zip this season to record two home runs in a single game, helping the Akron softball team to a 6-2 win in the series finale over Central Michigan on Sunday at Lee R. Jackson Field.

ATHENS. Ohio – Thanks to solo home runs by Madison Claytor and Mikayla Cooper, and solid pitching from Danielle Stiene, the Ohio softball team (26-10, 7-4 MAC) defeated Mid-American Conference leading Ball State (25-18, 9-2 MAC), 3-2, Sunday afternoon. The win snapped the Cardinals eight-game winning streak.

The Bowling Green State University softball team rallied from an early deficit, scoring three times in the fourth inning to post a 3-1 win over Eastern Michigan University Sunday afternoon (April 9). The win capped off BGSU's sweep of the teams' three-game series at Meserve Field.

Buffalo 4, Western Michigan 3
BUFFALO, NY – Sophomore Ally Power hit a bloop single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning, sending the Bulls to a 4-3 comeback victory in extra innings over Western Michigan.  Sophomore Catrell Robertson had a pair of huge hits, leading the Bulls to the comeback in their home opener at Nan Harvey Field.
