Zips Win 21st Consecutive Match with 5-2 Victory at Western Michigan
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Akron women's tennis team remained undefeated in Mid-American Conference play with its 21st consecutive victory. The Zips beat Western Michigan 5-2 on Sunday afternoon at the West Hills Athletic Club. The Zips improved to 22-2 overall and a perfect 6-0 in MAC play, while the Broncos fell to 9-10 overall and 3-3 in the MAC.

Zips Win 20th Consecutive Match with 4-3 Victory over Northern Illinois
AKRON, Ohio – The Akron women's tennis team claimed its 20th consecutive victory with a 4-3 come-from-behind victory over Northern Illinois on Friday afternoon at the LaTuchie Tennis Center. The Zips improved to 21-2 overall and a perfect 5-0 in MAC play, while the Huskies fell to 8-11 overall and 2-3 in league play.

Cardinals Earn 5-2 Road Win At Toledo
TOLEDO, Ohio - The Ball State women's tennis team continues to dominate Mid-American Conference action after taking down Toledo by a score of 5-2 Sunday afternoon on the road at the UT Varsity Courts. With the win, the Cardinals improve their overall record to 18-2 on the season and 6-0 in league action while the Rockets fall to 8-11 on the year and 0-6 in conference play. Toledo got off to a quick start after taking the first doubles match from the Cardinals on court three.

Women's Tennis Remains Perfect in MAC Play
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team continues to remain atop of the Mid-American Conference after its 6-1 win over Eastern Michigan Friday afternoon at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. With the win, the Cardinals improved their overall ledger to 17-2 and 5-0 in league play while the Eagles fall to 6-13 for the year and 1-3 in conference action. The No. 3 doubles tandem of Toni Ormond and Isabelle Dohanics were the first off the court for the Cardinals in doubles action. The twosome earned a dominating 6-1 victory over Eastern Michigan's Alejandra Barcelo and Renu Sharma.

Falcons Fall To Miami, 7-0
Bowling Green, Ohio – The top duo of sophomore Paula Comella and freshman Marharita-Sophia Tavpashcaptured their 13th overall doubles victory against the RedHawks, but the Bowling Green State University tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss Sunday afternoon at Keefe Courts. Comella and Tavpash teamed up to defeat Nelli Ponomareva and Anzhelika Shapovalova of Miami by a score of 6-4, at the No. 1 position.

Women's Tennis Picks Up First MAC Win
ROCKFORD, IL – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team picked up its first Mid-American Conference win of the season on Sunday afternoon as the Bulls won at Northern Illinois, 4-3. The Bulls took the doubles point as Anna Savchenko and Chantal Martinez Blanco won 6-2 at second doubles and Laura Holterbosch and Mercedes Losada Rubio won at third doubles, 6-3. UB was also leading at first doubles when play was stopped.

Bulls Fall To Western Michigan
KALAMAZOO, MI – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team lost a heartbreaker on Friday afternoon as Western Michigan came back for a 4-3 victory over the Bulls. Western Michigan took the doubles point to open the day with victories at two and three. The Bulls won at first doubles as junior Tanja Stojanovska and senior Margarita Kotok claimed a 6-2 victory.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Miami University’s women’s tennis team rounded out its weekend with a 7-0 win over conference opponent Bowling Green University, marking Miami’s 42nd win against the Falcons in all-time series history. Miami (9-9, 4-1 MAC) played with the advantage entering the doubles competition as BG didn’t have the players to play at No. 3. Sophomore Emily Strubleand senior Andreea Badileanu once again secured the doubles point for the RedHawks after they topped Polina Radeva and Aymi Sasaki, 6-3 at No. 2.

Tennis Rallies To Top Toledo
HAMILTON, Ohio – In a tightly contested match, Miami University’s women’s tennis team defeated the University of Toledo, 5-2, Friday afternoon at the Riverside Athletic Club. Despite dropping the opening doubles point, the RedHawks (8-9, 3-1 MAC) used a trio of three-set victories and three tiebreakers to hold off a competitive Rockets (8-10, 0-5 MAC) squad. In doubles, Toledo struck first as Sidnay Huck and Colleen O’Brien topped senior Andreea Badileanu and sophomore Emily Struble, 6-3, in third position.

TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo (8-11, 0-6 MAC) dropped a 5-2 battle to Ball State (18-2, 6-0 MAC) on Sunday afternoon at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts. Toledo and Ball State each tallied a 6-3 win in the doubles competition, but the Rockets ultimately fell short in a 7-6 (6) fight on Court 1 and lost the doubles point.

The Rockets will head into Sunday's match against Ball State with an overall record of 8-10 and a 0-5 ledger in the conference. Toledo got on the scoreboard first by winning the doubles point. Sophomore Claire Aleck and junior Megan Millerbested Miami, 6-3, at second doubles, before juniors Sidnay Huck and Colleen O'Brien clinched the point for the Rockets with a 6-3 win on Court 3.

Broncos Complete Comeback Over Buffalo
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team trailed Buffalo 3-1 with three final singles matches to play Friday afternoon at West Hills Athletic Club, where the Brown & Gold completed an improbable comeback win to defeat the Bulls 4-3 as Barbare Eristavi clinched the match in an intense third set tiebreaker. WMU claimed what proved to be a crucial doubles point early on. After Buffalo won at No. 1, Eristavi/Gabriela Slavovaearned a 6-4 win at No. 2 and Katja Fevralev/Denise Azcui earned the clincher at No. 3, also winning 6-4.
