Men's Tennis Claims 5-2 Win Over IUPUI
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team (12-9) took a break from Mid-American Conference action for a mid-week non-conference match against IUPUI (6-18) Wednesday afternoon at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center. Conner Andersen and Tom Carney kicked the day off with a strong 6-1 take down over the Jaguars Kyle Whittaker and David Beasley at the No. 2 spot. Lucas Andersen and Andrew Stutzthen clinched the doubles point for Ball State on the top court.

Men's Tennis Drops Decision To Toledo
TOLEDO, Ohio - The Ball State men's tennis team (10-9, 2-2 MAC) suffered a 4-3 loss in a hard fought battle Friday afternoon in Mid-American Conference action at Toledo (10-11, 1-3 MAC). The two conference teams competed to the very end but the Cardinals came up short this time. The Cardinals got off to a good start after taking the early 1-0 edge over Toledo in doubles action. Lucas Andersen and Andrew Stutz earned a 6-2 victory on the top court over Stejpan Sisko and Omar Espinosa. The No. 2 doubles tandem of Conner Andersen and Tom Carneysecured the doubles point after claiming a 6-3 decision over Vince Anzalone and Juan Carranza.

Binghamton:
Bearcats Fall At NIU, 5-2
DeKALB, ILL. - Northern Illinois won the doubles point and took four of the six singles matches to defeat Binghamton men's tennis (5-14, 0-4 MAC) 5-2 Wednesday afternoon at the West Tennis Courts. Sophomore Ludovico Cestarollo and freshman Kushaan Nath teamed for a win at No. 1 doubles but the Huskies won at the second and third spots to grab the opening point. Then Cestarollo and Nath won their respective singles matches at No. 1 and No. 3 but it wasn't enough to keep pace.

Men's Tennis Edged at Western Michigan
KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Binghamton men's tennis split six singles matches with reigning Mid-American Conference champion Western Michigan but the host Broncos (12-7, 3-1 MAC) won the deciding doubles point and defeated the Bearcats (5-13, 0-3 MAC) 4-3 Monday afternoon. The match began outdoors and finished indoors at the West Hills Athletic Club. The Broncos won at first and third doubles to grab the point and then clinched the team win with victories in the first three completed singles matches. Down 4-0, BU tightened the final score with wins at Nos. 1, 3 and 4.

Men's Tennis Edged at Colgate
HAMILTON, N.Y. - Host Colgate (8-6) captured the doubles point and that was difference as the Raiders handed Binghamton men's tennis (5-12) a 4-3 setback Thursday afternoon at Sanford Field House. After Colgate grabbed the doubles point to stake itself to a 1-0 lead, the teams split the six singles matches, with BU winning at Nos. 2, 4 and 6 and the Raiders taking the odd courts.

Huskies Top Binghamton, 5-2
DEKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men's tennis team earned a 5-2 victory over Binghamton on Wednesday afternoon. With the win, the Huskies improved to 13-9 overall, 2-3 in MAC play. For the sixth time in the last seven matches, the Huskies took the doubles point, doing so in dramatic fashion. After senior Carlos Manzanas and freshman Bor Schweiger Muzar opened the doubles with a 6-1 victory over Frenk Kote and Inigo Saez at number three, Binghamton (5-14, 0-4 MAC) earned a win at number one, meaning the point would come down to the match at number two.

Huskies Fall In Road Match At Toledo
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Northern Illinois University men's tennis team closed its 10-match road trip with a 5-2 setback at Toledo on Saturday afternoon. The defeat drops the Huskies to 12-9 overall, 1-3 in Mid-American Conference play. The Huskies fell behind early as they dropped the doubles point for the first time in six matches. Toledo neared a pair of narrow doubles victories as Serjen Olmedo and Vince Anzalone edged junior Louis-Philippe Hamel and junior Tom Hjertonsson at two, 6-4, while Thawin Suksathaporn and Reid Teatsorth topped freshman Bor Schweiger Muzar and senior Carlos Manzanas, 7-6, at three.

Rockets Down NIU, 5-2
TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo recorded a 5-2 victory over Northern Illinois on Saturday afternoon at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts. With their second-straight conference win, the Rockets improve to 10-12 overall and 2-3 in the Mid-American Conference. Toledo got a head start on the Huskies by claiming wins at second and third doubles. On Court 2, sophomores Vince Anzalone and Serjen Olmedo recorded a 6-4 victory over their competition, while freshman Thawin Suksathaporn and sophomore Reid Teatsorth claimed a 7-6 (5) win on Court 3.

Suksathaporn Clinches Toledo's First MAC Victory
TOLEDO, Ohio – Freshman Thawin Suksathaporn clinched Toledo's first Mid-American Conference win of the season. UT (10-11, 1-3 MAC) defeated Ball State, 4-3, in a back-and-forth affair on Friday afternoon at Shadow Valley. Ball State (10-9, 2-2 MAC) jumped into a 1-0 lead by securing wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Freshman Thawin Suksathaporn and sophomore Reid Teatsorth were leading Ball State, 5-3, at third doubles before their match was called.

Western Michigan:
Broncos Top Bearcats, 4-3
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team earned a quick 4-3 win over Binghamton Monday afternoon as the Broncos had the match clinched before the Bearcats were able to win the last three singles matches. The match did go into a brief rain delay, starting at Sorensen Courts and finishing at West Hills Athletic Club due to rain in the area. Doubles was tight throughout, but the Broncos were able to pull away with 6-4 wins at both No. 1 and No. 3. The No. 88 ranked team of Daniel Loebel/Kennosuke Nouchi won at No. 1 to improve to 11-7 this season and the team of Jannik Opitz/Eric Olivarez clinched the doubles point at No. 3, earning a win to improve to a perfect 8-0 together this season.
