Kent State's, Michaela Finn, finished atop the leaderboard following the three-day competition. The sophomore won her first conference individual championship of her young career after turning in a final scorecard of -1 (71), for a total score of -2 (214) through 54-holes. Following close behind Finn were her teammates Pimnipa Panthong in second place, 1 (217), Karoline Stormo in third place with a 4 (22), and Wad Phaewchimplee in fourth, 8 (224).

Northern Illinois and Ohio battled it out through all three days of competition before the Huskies pulled away on day three to take home a second place finish following their respective score of 45 (909). Lena Guatier of Northern Illinois was the Huskies top golfer on the weekend. She posted scored of 79, 71, and 78 for a total of 228, 12-over par. Behind Gautier, NIU recorded an additional three top-15 finishes with Andrea Agniel and Kelly Anderseon tying in tenth place ( 13), while Brielle Ward tied for 12th after shooting 14.

After a unanimous vote by the coaches of all 10 respective coaches, Panthong was named the 2017 MAC Freshman and Golfer of the Year, as well as a First Team All-MAC selection. The Golden Flashes standout freshman is currenlty ranked 19th in the country.

2017 Sportswoman of the Year was awarded to Bowling Green's senior Fran Rodriguez by her fellow conference competitors. The Sportswoman of the Year award recognizes the player whom other players most enjoy playing or conversing with; has good rapport with her own team; is supportive of her own team, but also respects the competition; makes players feel comfortable to be around her; commands respect and esteem rather than merely being popular and would consider to be worthy of representing women's intercollegiate golf to others.
