Women's Tennis Wins Back-To-Back MAC Regular Season Titles
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team won its second-consecutive Mid-American Conference regular season title with its come-from-behind 4-3 victory over Akron Saturday afternoon at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center. With the win, the Cardinals improve to 20-2 overall and 8-0 in league acton while Akron falls to 23-3 on the year and now owns a 7-1 league ledger. For the second-straight conference match Peyton Gollhofer was the deciding factor for the Cardinals, clinching the win for Ball State last week at Miami and then this week against Akron.

Bowling Green:
Broncos Bounce Back To Top Falcons, 4-3
Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University tennis team lost to Western Michigan University, 4-3, Sunday afternoon at Keefe Courts on the BGSU Campus ending the regular-season for the Falcons. Antonina Farrar and Leeah Floyd were recognized prior to the match for contributions to the tennis team. Bowling Green earned the doubles point thanks to the efforts of sophomore Paula Comella and freshman Marharita-Sophia Tavpash as well as sophomore Polina Radeva and freshman Ayumi Sasaki.

Women's Tennis Falls To NIU
Bowling Green, Ohio – Junior Emily Witt and freshman Ayumi Sasaki were victorious against Northern Illinois, but the Bowling Green State University tennis team dropped its match, 5-2 at Keefe Courts on the BGSU campus Friday afternoon. The Huskies took an early lead capturing the doubles point. The Falcons No. 2 duo of sophomore Polina Radeva and freshman Ayumi Sasaki were leading NIU's Pauline Chawafambira and Evelyn Youel 5-4, when the match was stopped due to a victory on court one.

Buffalo:
Bulls Close Out Regular Season With 4-3 Win
TOLEDO, OH – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team closed out the regular season with its fifth straight victory, defeating Toledo 4-3. The Bulls improved to 5-3 in MAC play as they begin next week's conference tournament as the third seed. The Rockets won the doubles point with victories at two and three, but the Bulls led at one when doubles play was stopped. Buffalo was able to win four of the six matches in singles play to come back for the victory. Toledo picked up wins at one and four, but the Bulls were victorious in the other four.

Bulls Win Fourth Straight With 6-1 Win over Eagles
WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team won their fourth straight match on Friday afternoon as the Bulls defeated Eastern Michigan 6-1. The victory clinched a spot in the upcoming Mid-American Conference tournament for Buffalo. The Bulls won the doubles point on Senior Day as senior Margarita Kotok and junior Tanja Stojanovska won at first doubles 6-2. Buffalo then clinched the point at two as freshman Anna Savchenko and sophomore Chantal Martinez Blanco overcame an early deficit to win 6-4.

Eagles Close Our Regular Season
YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Eastern Michigan University women's tennis team fell short against Miami University Sunday, April 23, on home ground in its last match of the 2016-17 regular season. Fighting through three doubles and six single competitions, the Eagles dropped a 4-3 decision on the day. Beginning in doubles action, the Green and White dropped a pair of matches to fall behind 1-0. Andrea Martinovska and Anna Velva were the only tandem to walk away with a victory, as they defeated Hannah Shteyn and A. Vasiukhina, 6-3, at No. 2 doubles.

Bulls Dispatch Eagles on the Road, 6-1
BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team was dispatched in a Mid-American Conference match by the University at Buffalo, 6-1, Friday, April 21. The Eagles (6-15, 1-6 MAC) registered one win on the day, with the victory once again coming at No. 4 singles. Buffalo snatched the doubles point after securing wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles, taking an early lead in the match. At No. 1 doubles, Ani Gogvadze and Maria Paula Ribero were bested, 6-1, while Andrea Martinovska and Anna Veleva fell 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.

RedHawks Top Eagles, 4-3
OXFORD, Ohio- In its last match of the regular season, Miami University women's tennis team ended on a strong note after it downed conference opponent Eastern Michigan University, 4-3, on Sunday. The match started off with a strong showing in doubles where Miami's top tandem of sophomore Emily Struble and senior Andreea Badileanu defeated Alejandra Barcelo and Renu Sharma, 6-2. Miami claimed the doubles point after junior Nelli Ponomareva and sophomore Anzhelika Shapovalova topped Ani Gogvadze and Maria Paula Ribero, 6-4.

Huskies Score Win Over Falcons
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Northern Illinois University Women's Tennis team posted a 5-2 win over Bowling Green in the regular season finale at the Keefe Courts Friday afternoon. The victory over the Falcons clinched NIU's appearance in the 2017 Mid-American Conference Championship, its first since 2012 and the first time since the league went to a six-team format.

Rockets Drop Season Finale To Buffalo
TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's tennis (9-12, 1-7 MAC) closed out its season with a narrow 4-3 defeat to Buffalo (11-8, 5-3 MAC) on Sunday afternoon at the Shadow Valley Tennis club. The Rockets jumped ahead of the Bulls by securing the doubles point. Junior duo Sidnay Huck and Colleen O'Brien finished first with a 6-3 victory on Court 3. Junior Megan Miller and sophomore Claire Aleck paired up on Court 2 and to defeat the Bulls, 6-4, and give Toledo a 1-0 edge in the match.

Women's Tennis Tops Bowling Green, 4-3
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Western Michigan women's tennis closed out its regular season with a tough 4-3 comeback win over Bowling Green on the road Sunday afternoon. The Broncos will enter next weekend's Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament at Ball State with an overall record of 10-12 and a MAC record of 4-4. WMU locked up the No. 6 seed in next weekend's conference tournament and will face the No. 3 seeded Buffalo Bulls on Friday, April 28 at 2 p.m., a team the Broncos beat 4-3 earlier this season.
