MUNCIE, Ind. – It was not a walk-off home run, but Janae Hogg's (Indianapolis, Ind./Cathedral) three-run blast in the fifth might as well have been as it deflated Miami and lifted the Ball State softball team to a 6-3 victory Sunday afternoon at the Softball Field at First Merchants Ballpark Complex.
