Ball State:
Cardinals End Regular Season With 4-3 Loss

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team (13-12, 2-5 MAC) suffered a 4-3 loss at Binghamton (7-15, 2-5 MAC) Sunday afternoon in its Mid-American Conference regular season finale. The Cardinals began the day strong after taking doubles wins on courts one and two to take the early 1-0 edge over the Bearcats.  On the top court for Ball State, the senior duo of Lucas Andersen and Andrew Stutz registered a 6-3 victory over Lodovico Cestarollo and Kushaan Nath to give the Cardinals their first doubles match.  Twin brothers Marko and Nemanja Guzinathen clinched the doubles point with their 6-3 defeat over Inigo Saez and Frenk Kote at the No. 3 position. Full Story...

Men's Tennis Falls At Buffalo
BUFFALO, NY - The Ball State University men's tennis team lost 6-1 on the road at Buffalo Friday afternoon in Mid-American Conference action.  The Cardinals fall to 13-10 overall and now own a 2-4 league ledger heading into their last MAC regular season match of the year on Sunday at Binghamton.  That match is set for an 11 a.m. first serve. Despite the loss today, the Cardinals were able to take away some positives from the match.  It was a close competition between the two schools' in doubles action as Buffalo took the first match on the top court after Hao Shen Koay alongside Filip Grbic defeated Lucas Andersen and Andrew Stutz by a score of 6-0.  Full Story...

Binghamton:
Bearcats Fall To Buffalo

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - League-leading Buffalo (10-5, 5-0 Mid-American Conference) won the doubles point and then took five of the six singles matches to pin a 6-1 setback on Binghamton men's tennis (6-15, 1-5 MAC) Wednesday afternoon. The teams played the doubles outdoors at BU's Tennis Complex before moving indoors to the Binghamton Tennis Center for singles play as rain hit the area. Senior No. 4 Thomas Caputo provided BU's lone win - a 6-0, 2-6, 6-3 victory. Buffalo:
Men’s Tennis Wins MAC Regular Season Championship With Perfect League Record

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team concluded its unblemished Mid-American Conference regular season on Sunday with a 4-3 victory over Northern Illinois, clinching the outright MAC Regular Season title with a perfect 7-0 record.  The Bulls become the first MAC team to go 7-0 in league play since Ball State in 1999. It was a fight for UB, who was playing its third match in five days.  The Huskies got the better of the Bulls early on, claiming the doubles point with wins at one and two.  The Bulls did get a win at three as Ethan Nittolo and Tony Miller won 6-2.  It was a big win for Miller, who was honored before the match as Buffalo's lone senior. Full Story...

Bulls Clinch No. 1 Seed with 6-1 Over Ball State
WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team remained undefeated in Mid-American Conference play with a 6-1 victory on Friday at the Miller Tennis Center.  The victory clinched at least a share of the MAC regular season title and assured the Bulls of the top seed in the upcoming MAC Tournament. Playing at home for the first time in over two months, the Bulls (11-5, 6-0 MAC) had a boisterous crowd that helped lead them to victory.  It began early as the Bulls claimed the doubles point.  At first doubles Hao Sheng Koay and Filip Grbic had no problem in their match, dispatching their opponent, 6-0.  After the Cardinals won at two, the Bulls picked up a victory at three as Ethan Nittolo and Tony Miller won 6-3 to take the 1-0 lead. Full Story...

Men's Tennis Remains Undefeated in MAC Play
BINGHAMTON, NY – An extended layoff did nothing to cool down the University at Buffalo men's tennis team as the Bulls remained perfect in Mid-American Conference play with a 6-1 victory at Binghamton on Wednesday afternoon.  This was UB's first match in 17 days as the Bulls improved to 10-5 and 5-0 in the MAC. The match began outdoors where the Bulls took the doubles point following a victory at two as Villhelm Fridell and Petr Vodak came away with a 6-1 victory.  UB then clinched the point at three with a 6-4 victory from Tony Miller and Ethan Nittolo. Full Story...

Northern Illinois:
Huskies Fall To Buffalo
BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Northern Illinois University men's tennis team pushed Buffalo to the limit but could not end the unbeaten conference season of the Bulls, falling 4-3 on Sunday afternoon in Buffalo. NIU (13-11, 2-5 MAC) claimed the doubles points to start the day. Senior Eric Marbach and junior Georg Lundkvist took the match at number one, 6-1, for their 22nd win of the season, their 15th in dual matches. Buffalo earned the win at number three before juniors Louis-Philippe Hamel and Tom Hjertonsson capped the doubles with a 6-4 win at number two, giving the Huskies the point. Full Story...

Toledo:
Rockets Fall to Broncos, 6-1
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Junior Omar Espinosa was the only Rocket to record a victory on Saturday afternoon as Toledo (11-13, 2-5 MAC) fell to Western Michigan (15-7, 6-1 MAC), 6-1, in its last match of the regular season. Espinosa found himself on the losing end of a 6-4 opening set to WMU's Matej Svjetlicic. The Rocket junior found his momentum and powered through to consecutive 6-4, 6-3 set wins to claim his match on court five. Full Story...

Western Michigan:
Men's Tennis Downs Toledo, 6-1
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team ended its regular season with a 6-1 win over Toledo at home Saturday afternoon. The Broncos will head into next weekends' Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament with an overall record of 15-7 and a MAC record of 6-1 after securing the No. 2 seed. The Broncos, who are now on a five-match winning streak, got off a great start by claiming the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. Matt Hamilton/Maik Steiner, last week's MAC Doubles Team of the Week, earned a 6-2 win at No. 2 to open and the duo of Jannik Opitz/Eric Olivarez stayed perfect this season with a 6-3 at No. 3 to move to 10-0. Full Story...
