ATHENS, Ohio – Sophomore Bailey Brownfield's home run to lead off the top of thee 11th inning accounted for all of the scoring in Kent State 1-0 win at Ohio on Wednesday afternoon. The victory gives the Golden Flashes a win of the season series, 2-1, and puts them within a game of first place in the Mid-American Conference East Division.

YPSILANTI, Mich. – Sophomore pitcher Heather Webb struck out a season-high seven batters in her second-straight two-hit shutout while helping Toledo softball (19-25, 7-5 MAC) complete the season sweep over Eastern Michigan (14-23, 2-10 MAC). UT blanked the Eagles, 4-0, on Wednesday afternoon at Varsity Field in Ypsilanti, Mich.

OXFORD, Ohio -- The Miami University softball team fell behind to Bowling Green early, but a clutch hit from junior Rylee Whispel was part of a four-run bottom of the fifth inning that led the RedHawks to a 5-4, come-from-behind victory. Miami improves to 21-16 overall and 7-5 in the Mid-American Conference. The Falcons fall to 20-23 overall and 6-6 in the MAC.
