Zips Win First Ever Regular Season Match Over Miami
AKRON, Ohio – The Akron women's tennis team kept things rolling with its 19th straight victory in a 4-3 win over Miami (Ohio) on Sunday afternoon at the Outdoor Tennis Facility on the UA campus. The win marks the first regular season victory over the RedHawks in program history. The Zips improve to 20-2 (4-0 MAC) with the win, while Miami (Ohio) falls to 7-9 (2-1 MAC). Akron has won 20 matches for the first time since the 2011-12 season.

Zips Top Buffalo To Win 18th Straight Match
WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – The Akron women's tennis team won its 18th straight match with a 5-2 win over Buffalo on Friday afternoon at Miller Tennis Center in Williamsville, N.Y. The Zips improve to 19-2 (3-0 MAC) with the win, while Buffalo falls to 6-6 (0-1 MAC). The Bulls were picked to win the MAC in the preseason poll. Akron won five of the six singles matches on the afternoon to take the match after Buffalo won the doubles point.

Cardinals Top Buffalo, 5-2
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team remains undefeated in Mid-American Conference play after its 5-2 victory over Buffalo Sunday afternoon at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center. With the win, the Cardinals improved their overall record to 16-2 overall and 4-0 in league action while the Bulls drop to 6-7 on the year and 0-2 in conference play. For the third-straight conference match the Cardinals took the doubles point from their opponent.

Women's Tennis Sweeps Bowling Green In MAC Play Friday
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State women's tennis team remains undefeated in Mid-American Conference action after its 7-0 sweep over Bowling Green Friday afternoon at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. With the win, the Cardinals improve to 15-2 overall and 3-0 in league action while the Falcons fall to 5-10 for the year and 1-2 in MAC play.

Muncie, Ind. – The Bowling Green State University tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss to Ball State University Friday afternoon at the Northwest YMCA. In doubles, sophomore Paula Comella and freshman Marharita-Sophia Tavpash lost a close match to Audrey Berger and Isabelle Dohanics, 7-6(5).

Women's Tennis Falls On The Road To Ball State
MUNCIE, IN – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team dropped their second straight Mid-American Conference match on Sunday afternoon on the road at Ball State by the score of 5-2. With the loss, the Bulls fall to 6-7 overall and 0-2 in MAC play while the Cardinals improved to 16-2 overall and 4-0 in MAC play. The Bulls opened doubles action strong at No. 1 doubles as the team of Tanja Stokanovska and Margarita Kotok defeated Rosalinda Calderon and Julia Sbircea by the score of 6-2. The Cardinals were able to collect wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to collect the doubles point.

Bulls Drop MAC Opener To Akron
WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team dropped its Mid-American Conference opener to Akron, 5-2, on Friday afternoon at the Miller Tennis Center. Akron, winners of 17 straight matches, pulled away late for the victory. The Bulls got off to a great start by winning at one and two doubles to earn the doubles point. Tanja Stojanovska and Margarita Kotok defeated Akron's Carli Knezevich and Karolina Maksimova, 6-2. Anna Savchencko and Chantal Martinez Blanco secured the doubles point with a 6-4 win over Arianda Blinova and Sophia Grier.

YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team continued its Mid-American Conference schedule Sunday, April 2, when it hosted Western Michigan University at the Claudia Wasik Tennis Complex in Ypsilanti. The Eagles (6-12, 1-3 MAC) dropped a 4-3 decision to the Broncos (8-9, 2-2 MAC) without their No. 1 singles player.

YPSILANTI, Mich. – Eastern Michigan University's tennis team dropped its second match in a row Friday afternoon, March 31. The Eagles (6-11, 1-2 MAC) fell 5-2 decision to Northern Illinois University. EMU took two singles points but the Huskies (7-10, 1-2) grabbed the doubles point before taking four of the singles matches.

Women's Tennis Falls To Akron
AKRON, Ohio – Miami University women’s tennis team resumed conference play with a dual match against the Akron Zips (20-2, 4-0 MAC) on Sunday afternoon. A final score of 4-3 handed the RedHawks a loss, ending their four-game winning streak. Miami (7-9, 2-1 MAC) collected only one win in doubles action thanks to the tandem of sophomore Emily Struble and senior Andreea Badileanu, who handily downed Shannon Newnes and Rita Pedroso in a quick 6-3 match. Sophomore Anzhelika Shapovalova and junior Nelli Ponomareva had a close match against Carlin Knezevich and Karolina Maksimova, but ultimately fell 7-6 (7-5).

HAMILTON, Ohio - Miami University women's tennis team notched another win in its belt after defeating Temple (9-10, 1-2 AAC), 4-3, continuing its winning streak on Friday afternoon at Riverside Athletic Club. This was the first meeting between the two teams in all-time series history. Miami (7-8, 2-0 MAC) started off the match strong in the doubles competition with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively. Senior Andreea Badileanu and sophomore Emily Struble set things in motion when they topped Temple's Money Stuckey-Willis and Mariana Bedon in a quick (6-2) match.

DEKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University Women's Tennis team won its second-straight match as the Huskies defeated Toledo at the West Tennis Courts Sunday afternoon. YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Northern Illinois University Women's Tennis team scored its first league win of the season as the Huskies posted a 5-2 win over Eastern Michigan at the Chippewa Tennis Complex Friday afternoon. Women's Tennis Edges By Huskies
DEKALB, Ill – Toledo fell just short of Northern Illinois, 4-3, on Sunday afternoon at NIU's West Tennis Courts. The Rockets fall to 8-9 overall and 0-4 in the Mid-American Conference. The Huskies (8-10, 2-2 MAC) secured a 1-0 lead over UT by winning at first and third doubles. The singles competition was split 3-3. Junior Colleen O'Brien bested Abigail Dekkinga, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 3 singles, while junior Megan Miller also recorded a straight-set win at the No. 5 spot over Brodie Walker.

YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team finished up a perfect weekend with a 4-3 win over Mid-American Conference (MAC) foe Eastern Michigan Sunday afternoon, bringing the Broncos conference record to 2-2. The Eagles came out and won the first doubles match at No. 2, but the Broncos stormed back, winning at No. 1 and No. 3 to claim the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead.

Women's Tennis Downs Toledo, 5-2
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan women's tennis got back on track in Mid-American Conference (MAC) play Friday afternoon, as the Broncos downed Toledo 5-2 at West Hills to earn their first MAC win of the young conference season. In doubles play, the matches were neck-and-neck to open, but the Broncos pulled away to take the doubles point and lead 1-0. The duo of Barbare Eristavi/Katja Fevralev took a 6-3 win at No. 3 and Olivia Myers/Denise Azcui clinched the point at No. 2 with a 6-4 win.
