Men's Tennis Picks Up Two Wins In Doubleheader
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team picked up two wins Saturday in its home doubleheader at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. The Cardinals started the afternoon off with a 6-1 victory over Wright State then earned a 7-0 sweep over Taylor University in their second match. At 1 p.m., the Cardinals took the doubles point fairly easy over the Raiders, only giving up two games total. On court three, Marko Guzina alongside teammate Matt Helm swept Jason Holloway and Estrada Sanchez 6-0. Lucas Andersen and doubles partner Tom Carney then took down Alvarez de la Villa and Jacob Perkins by a score of 6-2 at the No. 2 position.

Cardinals Fall To Illinois, 6-1
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team played a mid-week non-conference dual match Wednesday afternoon against No. 23 Illinois in West Lafayette. The Cardinals suffered a 6-1 loss to Illinois and now drop to 5-5 in spring action. The match against the Fighting Illini marked the fourth Big Ten foe opponent Ball State has faced this season.

Men's Tennis Blanked by Columbia
NEW YORK - No. 24 Columbia captured the doubles point and then won all six singles matches to defeat Binghamton men's tennis 7-0 Saturday afternoon at the Dick Savitt Tennis Center. The Bearcats next head to Virginia for a Sunday afternoon match at Richmond.

Bulls Fall To Princeton, 6-1
PRINCETON, NJ – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team had their winning streak snapped on Sunday as they fell at Princeton, 6-1. UB won at third doubles as Tony Miller and Ethan Nittolo came away with a 6-4 victory. After a Princeton win at two, the doubles point came down to first doubles where Filip Grbic and Hao Sheng Koay gave it everything they had against the 13th ranked team in the country before falling just shy, 7-5.

Bulls Keep Rolling With 6-1 Win Over Bryant
PRINCETON, NJ – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team won its fourth straight match on Saturday as the Bulls defeated Bryant, 6-1. The match was played in Princeton, NJ. With the win, the Bulls are now 5-3 on the year. Buffalo swept its way through doubles, including blowouts at two and three. The number two duo of Villhelm Fridell and Petr Vodak won 6-2, while the number three team of Tony Miller and Ethan Nittolo dropped just one game in a 6-1 victory. Filip Grbic and Hao Sheng Koaycompleted the sweep of doubles with a 7-6 victory at one.

Huskies Bounce Back With Win At IUPUI
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Northern Illinois University men's tennis team earned a weekend split as they defeated IUPUI on Saturday, 6-1. The Huskies took a 1-0 lead when they claimed the doubles point. Junior Georg Lundkvist and senior Eric Marbach earned a victory at number one, 6-2, while the Jaguars claimed a victory at number two, sending the double point to the deciding third match. In that match, junior Louis-Philippe Hamel and junior Tom Hjertonsson outlasted Marcus Nalley and Steven Christie, 7-6, taking the tiebreak 7-5, to give the Huskies the first point.

Huskies Downed at Butler
DEKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision on Friday at Butler. With the setback, NIU is now 10-5 on the season. Butler took the doubles point to open the scoring. Mikheil Khmiadashvili and Mason Dragos topped junior Georg Lundkvist and senior Eric Marbach, 6-3, at number one while Spencer Lang and Adrian Mag claimed a 6-3 win over junior Louis-Philippe Hamel and junior Tom Hjertonsson at number three.

Rockets Battle to 4-3 Win Over Boise State
San Diego, CA – Toledo (9-6) secured a hard fought 4-3 victory over Boise State (2-12) on Thursday afternoon at the San Diego Tennis & Racquet Club. The Rockets first soared to a pair of doubles wins to secure the doubles point. Sophomores Juan Carranzaand Reid Teatsorth downed the Broncos, 6-1, at No. 3 doubles right before sophomores Vince Anzalone and Serjen Olmedo followed with a 6-2 win at No. 2.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team defeated Cleveland State 6-1 Friday afternoon at West Hills Athletic Club. WMU has now won three straight matches to improve to 7-5 overall and 4-2 at home this season with two more matches before Mid-American Conference (MAC) play begins. The Broncos swept doubles play, with the duos of Kennosuke Nouchi/Billy Heckman, Matt Hamilton/Maik Steiner and Jannik Opitz/Eric Olivarez all earned wins (in that order) to claim the doubles point and put WMU up 1-0.
