Binghamton:
Men's tennis edged by NIU 4-3
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Sophomore No. 1 Ludovico Cestarollo won his second straight match to start conference play but visiting Northern Illinois (12-6, 1-1 MAC) captured the doubles point and edged Binghamton men's tennis (4-10, 0-2 MAC) in a Mid-American Conference match Sunday morning at the Binghamton Tennis Center. The Huskies used wins at first and third doubles to grab the opening point and then the teams split the six singles matches. Full Story...

Buffalo:
Bulls Improve To 2-0 In The MAC with 5-2 Win Over Northern Illinois
BINGHAMTON, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team improved to 2-0 in the MAC for the first time since the 2012-13 season on Saturday afternoon with a 5-2 victory over Northern Illinois.  The Bulls are now 7-4 on the season and 2-0 in league play. The Huskies took the doubles point with victories at one and three, but UB did get a win at second doubles as Petr Vodak and Villhelm Fridellwon, 6-4. Full Story...

Men's Tennis Rolls Past Binghamton in MAC Opener
BINGHAMTON, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team began its Mid-American Conference season on a high note Friday afternoon as the Bulls defeated Binghamton, 6-1. Buffalo improves to 6-4 on the season and 1-0 in conference play. The Bulls won doubles matches at one and three, capped off by a sweep at third doubles as Tony Miller and Ethan Nittolo won, 6-0.  Filip Grbicand Hao Sheng Koay won at first doubles, 6-2.  Petr Vodak and Villhelm Fridell led 5-3 at second doubles when play was halted. Full Story...

Northern Illinois:
Huskies Drop MAC Opener To Buffalo
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Junior Georg Lundkvist (Linkoping, Sweden/Lindkopings Kommun) won his singles match, and the Huskies took the doubles point, but Buffalo took each of the other five singles matches as the Northern Illinois University men's tennis team suffered a 5-2 setback against the Bulls in its Mid-American Conference opener.  Full Story...

Toledo:
Rocket Fall to Wichita State in Final Non-Conference Contest

LINCOLN, Neb. – Senior Stjepan Sisko was the only Rocket to record a victory in UT's tough loss to Wichita State on Sunday morning in Nebraska's Dillion Tennis Center in Lincoln, NE. With the defeat, UT drops to 9-8 on the season, while the Shockers improve to 9-7 overall. Sisko took his usual post at the top of the lineup and downed Wichita State's Miroslav Herzan in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, to put Toledo on the board. Full Story...

Rockets Lose Close Match at Nebraska
Lincoln, Nebr. – Toledo (9-7) dropped a close 4-3 match to Big Ten member Nebraska (3-8) on Friday evening at the Husker's Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center. The Rockets jumped ahead, 1-0, by winning the battle for the doubles point. Toledo initially fell behind by losing at No. 2 doubles but secured wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots to put UT ahead in the contest. Senior Stjepan Sisko and freshman Thawin Suksathaporn claimed a decisive 6-2 victory over their Husker rivalry at the top of the lineup to even the score at one match apiece. Sophomores Juan Carranza and Reid Teatsorth clinched the doubles point for the Rockets with a hard-fought 7-6 victory at third doubles. Full Story...

Western Michigan:
Men's Tennis Earns Two Wins on Sunday
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan men's tennis earned two 7-0 wins on Sunday, first beating Wright State and then defeating Grand Valley State to improve to 9-6 on the season with Mid-American Conference (MAC) play right around the corner. In the first match against Wright State, the Broncos swept doubles and singles without dropping a set. The No. 76 duo of Daniel Loebel/Kennosuke Nouchi earned a win at No. 1 while teams of Matt Hamilton/Billy Heckman and Jannik Opitz/Eric Olivarez also earned wins.  Full Story...
