Gymnastics All-MAC Teams Announced
CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced the Gymnastics All-MAC First and Second Team selections for the 2017 season Wednesday. The teams were selected based upon individual conference rankings of Regional Qualifying Standard (RQS).
For the third straight season, Kent State’s Rachel Stypinski was named to the All-MAC First Team. Eastern Michigan’s Kendall Valentin was honored for the second straight season. Joining them on the first team was Bowling Green freshman Jovannah East.
The All-MAC Second Team featured BGSU’s Lauren Feely, Central Michigan’s Katy Clements, EMU’s Catie Conrad, Kent State’s Jordan Hardison, Northern Illinois’ Jamyra Carter and Western Michigan’s Anna Corbett for the second consecutive year. Kent State’s Skyelee Lamano and WMU’s Rachael Underwood grabbed second team honors for the first time.
The 2017 MAC Gymnastics Championships will take place Saturday, March 18th at Bowling Green State University. Check out
